It was another hot weekend outside and also on the track as the JConcepts team stayed on fire! Check out this week’s Race Team Update to see where our drivers are burning up the tracks!

Let’s start off this week’s race report down in Columbus, GA at the HobbyTown USA “The Yard” indoor RC track that was the host of the recent 2020 ROAR Region 3 1/10th Off-Road Regional Championships. We had several drivers competing so let’s check in with the team to see how they performed.

Team driver Chris VanRaemdonck competed in 5 classes that weekend (no, that’s not a typo)! After all the racing was completed he took home 2 Regional titles in the Stock 2wd Buggy and Mod 2wd SCT classes! He also finished twice in 2nd place in both the Mod Stadium Truck and Mod 4wd classes too! And in the Mod 2wd Buggy class he put in a solid 4th place. All of his rides were equipped with JConcepts Aqua compound Ellipses, and he definitely earns our “Ironman” award for the week!

Also racing with Chris this past weekend was JC mate Cade Burnette. He competed in the Mod 4wd Buggy class and would TQ all 3 rounds of qualifying! He then went on to win the title by taking the wins in A1 and A2! His winning Team Associated B74 used Aqua compound Ellipses on all four corners.

Our runner up to the “Ironman” award this week is team driver Dave McEwen. He reports that he made the 8 hour drive to this race and competed in 4 classes!
