In this edition of the JConcepts Friday5 we talk to North Carolina team driver, Logan Cowick!
1. When and how did you get started in RC? And what class do you compete in or did you primarily bash your vehicles?
I got into RC when my parents bought me a Team Associated SC10 for Christmas. We found a track in Rock Hill, SC and I ran 17.5 short course truck.
2. What is your favorite class to race in today and why?
My favorite class to race is 1/8 Nitro Buggy because it’s the most competitive class.
3. Nitro or Electric racing. If you had to eliminate one all together which one would it be and why?
If I really had to eliminate one it would be electric. I like running the long mains in nitro, but I really like both types of classes.
4. In your opinion, when heading to the track what is the JConcepts product that is a must have on race day and why?
It would definitely have to be tires. If you don’t have the right tires your car may not perform at it’s best.
5. You are obviously highly skilled when it comes to RC cars, but what is one skill or hidden talent that folks might be surprised to find out about you?
Well obviously I really enjoy racing RC cars, but I also play guitar.
