In this week’s Product Spotlight we take a closer look at the recent release of our Pre-Mounted Swaggers & Twin Pins tires.
Due to the nature of the hard tire compounds used for astro and carpet racing surfaces, sometimes it can be difficult to correctly glue those tires to wheels for beginning drivers.
So JConcepts has made this step easier by offering our popular Swaggers & Twin Pins in a pre-mounted option.
Starting up front first, the Swaggers are a popular front tire for today’s 2wd buggies thanks to its ultra-low-profile carcass.
Added side-wall ribs that form a circular pattern also aid in consistent handling.
Due to its small diameter no insert is needed and now you can pick these up already glued to our 12mm hex “slim” style front wheels in either white or yellow color options.
But if you want to mount them yourself, you can purchase them separately and also pair them up with our “slim” style front wheels in both color configurations too.
Moving to the back now, the Twin Pins are a popular rear tire choice for both 2wd and 4wd buggy owners.
They are now available pre-mounted to our Mono rear wheels that use an industry standard 12mm hex. Both white and yellow color options are available, and these tires do include gray colored open cell inserts already installed for you.
The tire design itself features dual, connected pins with alternating positioning, sidewall legs with micro pins and a carefully shaped profiled carcass for more rolling speed.
And just like the Swaggers, you can purchase Twin Pins by themselves and glue them to our Mono wheels that are offered in both white or yellow colors.
