JConcepts continues to offer tuning options for the Team Associated DR10 lineup of vehicles. This all-brass machined bulkhead will help to get the nose down on your vehicle as it races down the drag strip. It adds approximately 49gm of additional weight and installs quickly into your vehicle using the OEM hardware. It also offers more protection that the stock plastic part and really pops with a brilliant gold finish.
Titanium Ball-Studs For The Tamiya Clod Buster & Team Associated Vehicles
JConcepts now offers Titanium Ball-Studs for various applications. Starting with this four piece 8x9x4mm ball-stud set these are popular for the Tamiya Clod Buster or our Regulator conversion kit. The large 8x9mm pivot balls are used by the ladder bars for both applications and are now available through JConcepts.
The OEM parts that come with the Tamiya kit are heavier, steel ball-studs which require a slot style screwdriver to work with them. Our titanium offering are crafted from lighter, machined titanium and can be installed or removed with a 2.5mm wrench.
We now also offer a four piece set of 5.5x8mm titanium ball-studs that can be used in a variety of Team Associated vehicles like the B6.x, T6.x, SC6.x and DR10 as well as our Regulator behind axle steering assembly. These new ball-studs are lighter than the stock steel components and can be installed with a 2mm hex driver. These new studs are also light-weight and again crafted from high-grade, machined titanium material.
We also now offer 6x6mm ball-studs sold in packs of four. They are also compatible with the Clod Buster and our Regulator chassis. The ball-studs that come with the Tamiya kit are a mix of heavy steel and brass items which required owners to use a hex nut driver to work with them.
Our ball-studs are not only lighter and stronger thanks to the high-grade titanium materials, but they also only require a 2mm hex wrench which makes them easier to work with when using today’s RC tools.
We also released titanium battery cradle stand-offs for the Team Associated B74.1 and the JConcepts Regulator kit.
These are lighter than the default OEM part and are once again crafted from high-grade, machined titanium material.
They can be installed using a 7mm hex driver and the 3mm threads on each side make them easy to adjust to achieve different heights for your setup.
RM2 Red Engine Tuning Screwdriver
JConcepts continues to offer new exciting products under the RM2 line! First up is this Red Engine Tuning Screwdriver. A good tuning screwdriver is a nitro racer’s best friend when it comes to getting their engine properly tuned on race day. Unlike most other tuning screwdrivers, this one can be disassembled so it can be stored easier in your toolbox. When it needs to go into action, simply place the “spring steel” assembled tip and adaptor back into the aluminum handle.
A magnet is seated inside the handle itself which will snap the tip into place, and it is also strong enough to hold it securely even if you were to drop the assembled screwdriver in pit lane. The handle has also been anodized in RM2 red and features silver highlighting. A laser etched JConcepts logo of authenticity has also been applied to the side and an injected molded black JC plug is located in the top side of the handle too.
The next RM2 item released was the Bridge 1/8 Wing Button. Crafted from aluminum and anodized in RM2 red coloring, this new wing button is perfect for 1/8 racers who are looking for extra protection for their truggy and buggy wings during competition.
The item features two “Clover” sections that seat your wing mounting hardware and are secured together with a “Bridge”. The “Bridge” also features a laser etched RM2 logo of authenticity and is compatible with today’s buggies and truggies using a 41mm wing mount spacing.
Curved Pliers, Side Cutter & Shock Shaft Pincher
When traveling to the track a driver wants to keep things as simple as they can while also being diligently prepared at the same time. Having the right tool for the right job is key, but having multiple tools can add a lot of weight to your tool box very quickly plus eat up critical storage space. The new JConcepts Curved Pliers, Side Cutter and Shock Shaft Pincher multi-use tool offers you a simple solution to this common problem.
This five piece tool design gives you an array of options for multiple RC maintenance tasks. Starting at the top, the curved pliers end are machined from steel and have been chamfered to reduce the overall weight. The insides of the curved pliers have also been machined with vertical lines to help you get a grip on any small RC part. Resting right below that section is a rounded opening section which will help you to lock onto round objects. Continuing to move down you will see that an inner cutter has been built into the design. You can use this to quickly cut electrical wires or those pesky small pieces of plastic that are left over on new parts when you remove them from a parts tree.
Moving past the pivot point you will find two small diameters that have also been built into the steel pliers. These holes allow you to hold onto shock shafts without marring the surface and laser etching has been applied to clearly mark them as either 4.0 or 3.0 diameters. Directly across from that rests an official JC logo too.
The handles themselves are crafted from aluminum and have been anodized in blue. Areas have been machined away to reduce the weight even more and add silver highlighting to its overall look and feel. An etched JConcepts.net logo has also been added for brand authenticity and the center pivot can be disassembled with a 4mm wrench for maintenance and cleaning.
Fuzz Bite & Pin Swag Carpet Tires
Take a bite out of the competition with some new carpet and turf tire swag from JConcepts. Starting with the Fuzz Bite tires, this new design uses a low profile carcass layout that was carried over from the popular Twin Pin design. This lower profile will help to gain a more rapid transition at high speeds and reduce side-wall deflections and rolls. This tread pattern features a reverse “water tower” design which plants the larger base at the bottom and narrows at the top for precision. The pins are placed in a radius pattern which will give you traction on multiple surfaces like office carpet or high grip CRC carpeting.
Alternating rows of pins provide side-bite and aids in forward traction. Another unique feature on these tires is the scalloped tire bead. The tips of the tire bead touch off on the inner beads on the wheels which reduces the rotational weight on your vehicle.
This tire is offered in both a front and rear option, but only the rear and front 4wd buggy tires include our open cell, medium inserts. The front 2wd buggy tires don’t require any inserts and all tires are compatible with 2.2″ wheels like our popular Mono wheels.
Moving to the Pin Swag tires, this new tread design combines the outer lugs of our Swaggers front tire with the pins from a Pin Down rear tire. The result is this fresh tire layout which features pins in the center with outer rows of Swag near the sidewalls. Taking a closer look at this new design reveals that the Swag is split down the center to give it the ability to contort to surfaces. In between, a stagger section with angular front is placed just behind a vertical rib to complete the design.
The tight spacing of the Pin and Swag bite together help to minimize wear across the carcass. An already low-profile carcass rolls through the turns and transitions well at high and low speeds.
This tire design also uses our scalloped tire bead which again reduces the weight and each package also include our open cell, medium inserts.
Hex Driver Wrench Set With Storage Base
JConcepts now offers this handy 1/4″ hex driver seven piece wrench set with a separate storage base. Many of today’s vehicles only require a few different metric sizes and JConcepts includes those plus more. Each set comes with the popular 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5mm sizes along with ball-end versions of the 2.0 and 2.5mm. Those ball-ends comes in handy for hard to reach screws that require you to work with them from an angle. Also included are 5.5 and 7.0mm nut drivers for removing nuts from shocks, wheels, etc. Each wrench tip is laser etched with its appropriate size and a JConcepts.net logo for identification. The tips can used in the electric drill of your choice or go “old school” and use them with the included blue anodized handle. This handle is packed with great features like sliver highlighting, an injection molded endcap inscribed with a JC logo for brand authenticity and classic JConcepts “Fin” machined details and teardrop milling sections. A magnet has been placed inside the opening of this handle to quickly lock each tip into place when you need to use them.
As a bonus we also include an injection molded storage base. Use this base to vertically store each driver while wrenching at your pit space at the track or your workbench at home.
And when you need to travel with this set simply place it into the included translucent storage case with pre-cut hard density foam to protect your investment and keep it secure.
Protector Clear Body & 5.5″ Wing For The RC10
JConcepts has always been a supporter of the vintage RC community and our latest offering for RC10 owners is sure to be another hit! The new Protector clear body blends modern design tools with classic 1980’s and 1990’s stylings.
This new shell features a rear biased cab that extends over the rear shock tower. That continues towards the back to cover the transmission area too. It also has large, distinctive retro looking side windows and use simplistic side-pods. The front nose piece of the body is feathered on the sides and chamfered to fit between the front shock tower.
A small, flared section near the front also provides clearance around the button head screws on the sides of the tub chassis. Included is a 5.5″ rear wing, window masks and a decal sheet.
Aluminum Hex Adaptors For Tribute, Dragon & Midwest Wheels
RC monster truck drivers who like to go fast and furious while using our Tribute wheels will like this new offering from JConcepts. These new Aluminum Hex Adaptors will provide more durability for high-power applications than their stock plastic counterparts.
They have been anodized in black and two options are available.
There is a 11 and 18mm offset and each one is laser engraved with the appropriate label so you know which one you are working with.
Not only do they work with our Tribute rims but they are also compatible with our Dragon and Midwest wheels too.
Reflex Truggy Tires Now Available In Aqua Compound
Truggy drivers have another flavor of our popular Reflex tire to add to their arsenal. This winning tread pattern is now available in our Aqua (A2) compound. This compound is best suited for treated track surfaces that are slightly abrasive.
And they are still packed with the same great features the Reflex is known for like square angled pins that are stacked vertically to flex and fold evenly across the tire and promote equal tread wear. Each package includes Dirt-Tech close cell inserts and they also use a 4.0″ bead mounting size which is compatible with today’s 1/8 Truggies.
Switching gears we go from a larger product to something very small, specifically 1/24 size. The new Axial SCX24 Clear Bodies are officially licensed replica bodies from some of your favorite full scale vehicles plus one of our own designs.
Starting with the 1970 Chevy K10 clear body, this new tiny shell is packed full of large scale details like a front grille and headlight package as well as the layered and sculpted rear tail gate and taillight section. The body’s fenders wells are round with raised edging which makes them ideal for several different 1/24 scale tires currently out on the market.
A front bumper is molded into the design to give it an even more realistic look and you can customize it even more with the included decal sheet. Window masks are also included as well as an overspray film.
For Ford fans we got you covered with the 1993 Ford F-150 body. This body is also a direct fit to the Axial SCx24 and other similar vehicles. The body uses stout fender flares that are carefully carved into the panels while openings allow for a vast assortment of tires out on the market. The rear of the body has a bed that allows for body mount positioning or an assortment of scale aftermarket accessories.
A front bumper is built into the body that can be located behind the single tube bumped on the SCX24 or positioned without stock items for a more street truck appeal. Also included are windows masks, decals and a clear heavy-duty polycarbonate with protective film.
The JCI Creep is a “Mini-me” version of our JCI Creep Crawler clear body but don’t let the size fool you. This little shell can handle the toughest terrain that your SCX24 or like vehicles will encounter. Starting in the front, a long nose blends itself into the V-shaped windshield. Moving toward the back you will find the large single cab that gives this body a distinctive vintage look.
Resting behind the cab is a lowered bed area and both the front and rear of the body use large wheel wells to both give it a military look plus make it compatible with several tire and wheel options out on the market. A decal sheet with headlights and grille are included along with window masks and overspray film.
Next we released a fresh take on an old legend. Our popular small two drawer racing bag is back with our current Finish Line livery. This multi-purpose bag can be used to store your spare parts, tires, radios, tools and even 1/10 buggies and smaller 1/16 and 1/24 vehicles.
Located on the sides is an embroidered JConcepts logo for authenticity and a business card (remember those?) or identification holder is located on the back.
Moving to the front, integrated vertical Velco strips secure the two composite drawers in place. Unhook the strips and flip the lid up to access the drawers inside. A divider keeps the two drawers from running fenders and hard plastic handles are incorporated into the drawers so you can easily maneuver them in and out. When assembled, the bag is 18”L x 14″H x 12″W and a carrying strap is also included to help you transport this bag on your next destination.
Clear 2020 Ford Raptor Body With BIGFOOT 19 Racer Stripe Package
JConcepts has teamed up with BIGFOOT 4×4 to offer officially licensed decal sets to go along with branded body shells. This new body is our second offering of a BIGFOOT 19 Racer Stripe which includes all logos associated with the truck in the most current trim packages.
The clear body shell is a 2020 Ford Raptor and features include a low-slung, snoopy front-end design and a grille area is that is heavily recessed. It also features upper louvers and hard-edge hood impressions that create a strong and durable mounting area for the body and matches the 1:1 as a racer.
The slight bed recess allows plenty of space for body mounting and trimmable space for roll bars and items found on a chassis such as the Axial SMT10. The body measures 7.25″ in width and uses a 12-13″ semi-adjustable wheelbase so it should fit many of the monster trucks offered today.
Each body also includes a Ford Raptor decal sheet, a BIGFOOT 4×4 decal sheet, window masks, a clear heavy-duty polycarbonate with protective film and instructions. We debuted this final product at a recent BIGFOOT event which you can watch in this video below:
Our next release was perfect for nitro racers looking for a way to safely transport their engines to and from the track. The JConcepts Finish Line Engine Bag is equipped with a high-density foam insert that is tucked inside. This foam is pre-cut and intended to hold up to two nitro engines (not included) plus two additional pockets are available to store other accessories.
Two black zippers are used to open or lock the contents of the bag and they run around three sides of it with the fourth side acting as a hinge for the lid.
An embroidered JConcepts logo is centered on the front side of the bag and a carrying handle is sewn into the top side of the bag so you can easily grab it on the way to the track.
Carbon Logo Cargo Net Battery Brace
JConcepts continues to charge ahead in the battery strap game with our newest system, the Carbon Logo Cargo Net Battery Brace. This new item is compatible with the Team Associated B6.x, T6.x and SC6.x generation of vehicles. It uses a combination of carbon fiber and molder rubber materials to lock your battery in place.
First, the left and right side carbon fiber cradles lock into the vehicle’s side rails using the OEM holes. To adjust the cradles forward or backward for your desired battery placement, simply loosen the included four 3x12mm BHCS, slide the cradles, and then lock the screw back into place.
The molded rubber cargo net is then attached on top of the cradle with its included holes. The cargo net has two sets of holes that mesh up with the four “tabs” that protrude from the cradle. This makes it easier to adjust the strap in case you were to run batteries that vary in height.
And the cargo net is also available nine different colors to customize the look and feel of your car even more.
1968 Pontiac Firebird Pro Clear Drag Car Body
The next release was another body option for the growing RC drag racing scene. The 1968 Pontiac Firebird Pro clear body, which has been nicknamed “The Machine”, is packed with performance and stylish features like a low-profile stature, super low Firebird V-nose, built-in front splitter and a crowned shaped hood line.
To gain more grip the body has a rear over-hang section and built-in side-dams to achieve more launching stability and forward traction. A slight hood-scoop runs the center-line of the body over the crowned hood which is a perfect spot for sponsor decals or custom paint wizardry.
To complete the realistic look of this new body shell add the included headlight, grille and duct decals to the front end. The Machine measures 11.00″ in width and uses a 13″ wheelbase which will make it compatible with a variety of drag vehicles like the DR10, Losi 22S, and Drag Slash.
However, if you do want to use it with the Drag Slash you will have to purchase parts TRA3619 and TRA2579 separately so please make a note of that. And like all of our bodies it comes standard with window masks, a clear heavy-duty polycarbonate with protective film plus the detailed Pontiac Firebird / JConcepts decal sheet.
