Last weekend Round 1 of the Fall session of the Super Cup Championship Series took place at Newred Hobbies in Ocala, FL.
The kickoff to this series saw 125 entries spread out over 9 classes to compete in.
Practice began on Friday with drivers cutting laps till 8pm that night.
Then on Saturday the doors opened bright and early at 6:30am with open track practice running from 7-8am.
Then after that controlled practice ran till 9am with the 1st round of qualifying beginning at 9:30am. The race event consisted of two rounds of qualifying then all the mains.
A driver’s best qualifier was used to determine their starting order for the mains. The top two finishers in each lower main bumped up into the next main so if a driver had a rough day of qualifying they still had a chance to move into the A Main.
Each main ran for six minutes and we had a lot of drivers in attendance so let’s see how the team performed.
Starting with the premiere class of Mod 2wd Buggy it was podium sweep for the JConcepts team!

Over in the Mod 4wd Buggy class the JC team was able to secure two more spots on the podium!

In the 13.5 Stadium Truck and Mod 2wd Short Course Truck classes team driver Brian Miller dominated qualifying as he secured the double TQ for the round! He then went on to secure the double victory in both mains giving JConcepts five wins in total for round 1!
