Dakotah Phend and Spencer Rivkin came into the final race of the weekend with the fire in their eyes as they wanted to win the overall Masters title. This was it. It was a 3-way tie between Rivkin, Phend, and Evans. Luckily, Phend started 1st on the grid and had a great start to the race. Rivkin started 4th on the grid. Early on Phend and Evans started to separate from the main pack as the top 2. Horne and Cavalieri were battling behind them for 3rd place. Evans got by Phend and took over the lead, Phend was trying to hunt him back down. Evans snagged the pipe at the end of the straightaway, Phend took back the lead. They were nose to tail, Phend was trying to keep it fast and clean. They were running so close they touched and got tipsy, Evans waited for Phend with great sportsmanship and then the pressure was back on. Phend put down several heater laps and was the only driver to have a sub 18 second average lap time.
2wd Mod Buggy: Dakotah Phend (2), Spencer Rivkin (4)
Horne and Rivkin were running 1 & 2 to kick off the race. Evans was lurking in the background waiting for his opportunity to make a move. Down the straightaway Horne snagged the pipe, he rolled it over, Rivkin got the worst of it, and Evans drove by. Phend started 5th on the grid and moved up into 3rd place. Spectators on the sidelines marshaled Rivkin and Horne. The top 3 were nose to wing, Phend moved by Cavalieri into 2nd. The top 2 started to pull away. They essentially maintained their positions all the way to the end, and Phend secured 2nd overall!
1:10 4wd Truggy: Josh Parrish (1)

21.5 2wd Buggy: Brenley Bordeaux (1)
It came down to the final race to determine who would take the overall title! Dakotah Phend was able to take the win in 4wd modified buddy and lock in the overall Masters of Dirt Title! This is his second time taking the overall title! Congratulations to Kyle Gough on taking his first Stock Master Title!
