Spring is in the air, but during the winter months the JConcepts crew continued to crank out cool items for all genres of RC which you can read about in the Winter 2022 edition of the JConcepts Product Rewind!
Pre-Mounted Swagger 4wd Front Tires On Mono Wheels
Starting off the new year were the latest pre-mounted carpet tires for 4wd buggy owners. The popular Swagger tire is now available in a pre-mount configuration to use on the front of your 4wd vehicle. They are glued to our Mono rims and two colors options are available, white or yellow.
The Swaggers are a popular front tire for today’s 4wd buggies thanks to its ultra-low-profile carcass. The tire design also uses side-wall ribs that form a circular pattern also aid in consistent handling. They are sold in pairs and each tire is stuffed with our open cell medium inserts.
Next, JConcepts released these new metal car stands for 1/10 and 1/8 vehicles. These stands are available in either blue or black color options, and each variation is formed from all-aluminum material. When compared to our lexan car stands, these stands are much taller so a variety of vehicles can be serviced without the wheels touching the ground.
Laser etched logos have been added to each side for brand authenticity, and the top deck have holes pre-cut out so you use them to service shocks.
A matching foam sheet with pre-cut holes is also included so you can apply it to the top deck to help keep your car in place when wrenching on it. Also included are foam pads for the legs to help lock it into place on your pit table.
At the same time a RM2 version of this metal car stand was also released. This stand uses the familiar red anodizing that is a key component to the growing RM2 (Ryan Maifield Momentum) product line. Just like the previous Metal Car Stand, this RM2 variant also is compatible with 1/10 and 1/8 vehicles and crafted from all-aluminum materials.
Laser etched logos have been added to each side for RM2 brand authenticity along with an inspirational quote from the two time IFMAR World Champ. The top deck also has pre-cut holes for servicing shocks too. Each stand also includes a foam sheet that can be applied to the top of the deck with matching hole cut-outs, plus foam pads to add to each leg of the stand. By using both this will help to keep your vehicle in place on top while standing strong on your pit table.
JCI CreepER Cab Only Clear Body
Our popular JCI Creep body just got a little CreepiER with this new cab only option! This cab comes clear and was designed to be used with vehicles with a 12.3″ wheelbase like the Traxxas TRX-4, Element Enduro and many others. Each cab also includes a decal sheet, overspray film and window masks too. Design features of the CreepER Cab include a crisp front-end design with a skeleton like grille. Retro military style flange fenders rest on each side of this cab as well. The entire cab is pre-trimmed around the exterior for easier installation on many of today’s vehicles.
However, if you want to fully equip this body for a custom look on an Element Enduro, then you will want to visit the JConcepts Shapeways store to pick up six additional 3D printed items. By combining all six pieces you can form a tube bed behind the cab, but you will need to supply your own hardware to combine them.

Installing Sidewall Support Adapters With JConcepts Driver Spencer Rivkin
JConcepts continues to push racing innovation like the recent release of our Inner Sidewall Support Adaptors. During high traction, or loaded conditions, tire sidewall deflection causes your car to oversteer which can lead to inconsistency on lap times since your car is harder to drive. By adding the inner sidewall support adaptor and gluing it into place, the sidewall effectively becomes much harder and allows a driver to enter smoother arcs and radius turns on the race track. Already used in competition, the sidewall support pieces have shown to work on glued, sealed, or naturally grippy surfaces where traction rolling or oversteer is an issue. In addition, when conditions are rough, bumpy or dusty, the additional support drives smoother and with more consistency. JConcepts driver and multi IFMAR World Champion Spencer Rivkin goes through the process to glue these 1/10 adaptors in buggy tires in the video below:
These “rings” are crafted from rubber material which will make them easy to bond with tire glue. Sections have been cut away to reduce their overall rotating mass, but yet they are still strong enough for racing conditions. Currently we offer them for both 1/10 and 1/8 buggies.
JCI The Gozer 12.3″ Wheelbase Clear Body
First released for monster trucks, our popular Gozer body is now available for 12.3″ wheelbase vehicles too! This means it will fit a variety of vehicles from Axial or even the Element Enduro or Traxxas TRX-4.
The front and rear section of the body provide ample clearance for crawling tires for either competitions or recreational adventures. The cab features a high-roof design with four doors and large windows below it. Each body come with windows masks and a detailed decal sheet. The decal sheet also includes grille options to customize the look of your Gozer even more.
And to top off the look of this body, the team has designed a complete cage that you can purchase separately through our Shapeways store.
Aggressor 17mm Monster Truck Wheels
These new monster truck rims look similar to our popular Tribute wheels, but there are a few key differences. First of all these new wheels have been beefed up to take more abuse from today’s monster trucks.
This is accomplished thanks to thick wall sections throughout the wheel, plus a reinforced 17mm hex adaptor with a ten-leg bolt pattern that locks and keys into the wheel. The inner part of the wheel is raised to a bead mounting diameter of 3.8″.
The outer bead is at 2.6″ and when they are combined together the Aggressor will fit many vehicles while retaining that desirable monster truck look.
Each package includes two wheels, hardware for the 17mm hex adaptor, planetary covers, and they are also available in white, black, yellow, and silver color options.
Renegades Monster Truck Racing Tire
To go along with these new wheels JConcepts also released a new monster truck tire called the Renegades. Named for their hard-core performance design with a low-profile racing carcass, the Renegades can now be placed on popular vehicles such as the Losi LMT, Traxxas Maxx, E-Revo and ARRMA Kraton.
Large chevron style lugs were created with a specially designed back-cut tread, plus shaved carcass areas to imitate the real thing. As the Renegades rotate the tread still stands tall and will provide a driver forward grip in a variety of surface conditions. The back-cut section provides a small transition during high-speed cornering which conforms to changing terrain and obstacles.
Located on the sidewalls are realistic looking brand identifiers to add to the scale realism of these new tires. These tires measure in at ~4.0” W x 6.2”H with a mounting bead of 2.6” x 3.8”, and they are available in two different compounds. One is our medium-soft Yellow compound that is suitable for dirt, grass, and asphalt. This compound tends to feel noticeably mushy and sticky, and has expanding characteristics and tend to “pizza cutter” during flat out high-speed runs. The other compound we offer is Gold which feels snappier to the touch and excels on polished or hard surfaces, and expands less during high speeds. These tires are sold in pairs and they also include our open cell “React” inserts.
Pre-Mounted Renegades Monster Truck Racing Tires On Aggressor 17mm Wheels
To make it easier than ever to start crushing the competition with your monster truck, we also offer these new wheels and tires in a pre-mounted option. These are sold in pairs and each tire comes stuffed with out “React” open cells inserts. Both the tires and wheels still pack the same great features and all the glue work has been done for you now. Currently these pre-mounts are only available in our Yellow compound and are mounted to our Aggressor wheels in the silver color option.
Fling Kings Monster Truck Tires
We didn’t stop there as we made this other new tread pattern available for monster truck enthusiasts! The Fling Kings are designed to get down and dirty as you send your rig through mud, dirt, gravel and grass surfaces. Patterned after full scale tires, the Fling Kings give off that hand-cut appearance and use V-style tread patterns.
On the inside of the tire reinforcement ribs have been added to the outer sidewall to help stabilize the carcass against the wheel. The outer sidewall has realistic looking lettering and part numbers for easy identification while also adding to the scale realism.
And just like the Renegades, these new tires are available in either our medium-soft Yellow or medium Gold compounds. Each tire is packed with our “React” open cell inserts, and they are also sold in pairs. Each tire’s mounting bead is also 2.6” x 3.8”, but the tire itself measures at ~3.82” W x 6.35”H. So they will fit our Aggressor wheels and look great with trucks such as the Losi LMT, Traxxas Maxx, E-Revo and ARRMA Kraton.

And we also offer these as pre-mounts with our Aggressor 17mm Wheels. These are sold in pairs and are glued to silver colored Aggressor wheels. They are also only available in our medium-soft Yellow compound and each tire is packed with our “React” open cell inserts. “Forward Pursuit” 2022 Pullover Sweatshirt & T-Shirts
A new year means new threads for the JConcepts race team!
Starting with our “Forward Pursuit” 2022 Pullover Sweatshirt, this is available in black and decked with our “Forward Pursuit” logo. A larger “Forward Pursuit” logo rests on the front while on the backside a smaller logo is stamped near the center. Resting below the logos on each side is a large ‘ghosted’ logo to add depth to the overall look. These are manufactured from 50/50 cotton-polyester material and available in sizes ranging from M to XXXL.
To go along with it is our new “Forward Pursuit” 2022 T-Shirt. This is also available in black and comprised of 50/50 cotton-polyester material. Sizes range from M to XXXL and they also feature our “Forward Pursuit” logo plus the ‘ghosted’ variation too. They are placed in near identical locations as the Pullover Sweatshirt so that no matter what item you are wearing, you can proudly display that you are part of a World Champion racing team!
We also released some new hats to kick off the start of a new racing year! The “Forward Pursuit” 2022 Hats are currently available in four variations, and they all feature our latest “Forward Pursuit” 2022 circle boundary leather patch logo proudly displayed front and center. All four hats are adjustable thanks to the plastic snapback and we offer both round and flat bill variations.
Our Gray and White and all Black hats have a ‘trucker hat’ mesh in the back and feature the round bill.
The all Gray and other all Black hats use a flat bill and use the same solid material in the front and back.
Next, we released a few option parts for the Team Associated B6.3 vehicle. Starting with the B6.3 Servo Mount Brace, this new option piece is constructed from lightweight aluminum and is available in either blue or black anodized color options. Thanks to its wrap-around design it will cleanly fit over your existing servo without any additional modifications.
On each side of the brace is a small hole that can be used with the included 3x6mm set screws. By threading those set screws into the holes until they touch the servo they will help you to align and maintain your servo’s position during racing conditions, crashes, and hard hits. Just make sure to add a dab of thread locker to each set screw so they stay in place.
An etched JConcepts.net logo rests on the ‘bridge’ running over the servo, and the silver colored chamfered edges help to highlight the aesthetics of this piece. Please visit our website for complete installation details.
B6.3 Fin Titanium Black Front Axle
We followed that up with some optional front axles. The new Fin Titanium Black Front Axles are crafted from high-grade titanium lightweight materials and anodized in black. They feature a ‘blooming flower’ design that not only looks great, but it also helps to reduce the axle’s weight since less material is used. Small JC laser etched logos have also been added to the inside of the design, and key areas have also been machined away to enhance its overall look.
Also included are 1mm spacers that can used to increase or decrease your buggy’s track width. It is recommended to start with a stock width setting (1mm spacer placed outside) during the initial build and installation of these axles.
RM2 vs Dirt-Tech Inserts With JConcepts Driver Spencer Rivkin
Since we released our RM2 Hard 2.2″ Inserts last year these have been a big with racers everywhere. These are available for both front and rear 2wd and 4wd tires and they are colored black for easy identification. These inserts are made of durable materials that can be reused many times. The inner chamber of the inserts have horizontal channels cut in a 360 pattern to soak up the large impacts and help create forward bite and increase acceleration. To help explain the differences even more, once again we turn to team driver and 2 time IFMAR World Champion Spencer Rivkin:
This new beanie is available in two color options, black or gray. Both versions include a JC leather etched logo and feature a low profile fit and finish to keep you warm and looking stylish at the same time.
We then released a new option part for your full size vehicle. The Aluminum License Plate Frame is available in either blue or black color options, and each one is crafted from billet aluminum that has been CNC machined for precise accuracy.
Key areas have also been machined away to add silver chamfer highlights, and laser etched logos have also been added for brand authenticity. These plates also feature slotted holes that allow you to adjust them to either the right or left when installing them onto your vehicle.
They were designed to accommodate common sized license plates found in the United States and Canada, but depending on your plate size they might work for other regions too.
These new wheels are sure to be a hit for dirt off-road and oval racers! The 9 Shot 12mm Hex SCT Wheels are inspired by full size wheels that are commonly found on high performance racing vehicles around the world. To help them achieve that scale realism they use a mock five lug bolt pattern and a deep 3D depth 9 spoke look.
Thanks to their 2.2″ x 3.0″ mounting diameter and 12mm hex base they are compatible with numerous RC vehicles like off-road short course trucks and SCT (short course truck) based dirt oval Late Model, A-Mod and B-Mod cars.
These wheels also include vent holes, and they also have incorporated an outer glue catch that resists excess glue from running down the wheel face during the gluing process. They are available in black, white or yellow color options and each package includes a set of wheels.
Sprinter 2.2″ Buggy Tires Now Available In The Aqua A2 Compound
Our popular Sprinter 2.2″ Buggy front (2wd only) and rear tires are now available in our Aqua A2 soft compound. First released in 2019, the Sprinter was an instant hit in the Dirt Oval racing scene, but drivers quickly found out it works great in dirt off-road racing too. These tires still feature the same winning details like angled outer sidewall pins and square horizontal traction bars.
The tread pattern also allows for some tuning options depending on how they are mounted which you can read about on our Support section of our website.
These tires also use an industry standard 2.2” bead mounting size, and Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts are also included.
Front 4wd Buggy Pre-Mounted Fuzz Bite LP Tires
Once again JConcepts makes it easier for you to hit the track with this next product release. Our popular Fuzz Bite LP front 4wd Buggy tires are now available in a pre-mounted option. Each one is glued to either white or yellow Mono wheels and a complete set is included in each package.
These tires use a low profile carcass layout that will help a driver to gain a more rapid transition at high speeds and reduce side-wall deflections and rolls. This tread pattern features a reverse “water tower” design which plants the larger base at the bottom and narrows at the top for precision. The pins are placed in a radius pattern which will give you traction on multiple surfaces like office carpet or high grip CRC carpeting.
Alternating rows of pins provide side-bite and aids in forward traction. Another unique feature on these tires is the scalloped tire bead. The tips of the tire bead touch off on the inner beads on the wheels which reduces the rotational weight on your vehicle.
Glide 5 & Hazard 1” Wheels For The Axial SCX24
We followed that up with some new wheels for Axial SCX24 enthusiasts. Starting with the Hazard these 1″ wheels are sold in packs of four and are black in color.
Many details have been added to this wheel like a 10-spoke and outer ribbed pattern, along with a mock lug-nut treatment near the center of the wheel. To help you glue your tires to them easier the beads of the wheel have been textured as well. On the inside of the wheel you will find a hex area and these are a direct fit onto the Axial SCX24.
The other wheel launched for this platform is called the Glide 5. These are also sold in packs of four and are available in a black finish. These wheels will give you a retro vibe thanks to their large 3D 5-spoke design which carries a pocketed look into and through the wheel. The inside of the wheel also features a hex area so you can easily bolt these onto your Axial SCX24 vehicle.
Landmines & Tusk Tires For The Axial SCX24
To go along with the release of our new 1′ wheels, we now offer two new tires options for the Axial SCX24 too. Starting with the Tusk we have taken our popular scale tires and shrunk them down to a smaller size.
But don’t let the size of these tires fool you since they still feature our V-shaped lugs with multiple steps to the side for additional grip in the center of the tread pattern. Large, staggered traction bars were added to the sides as well to continue the V-shape pattern. The shorter versions of these traction bars work in conjunction with the center lug, while the longer version helps to fill a void underneath and then meet up with the center of the tire. All of the traction bars used in this design feature relieved cuts and slots on the top to break up the flat surfaces and increase grip on various surfaces. Highly detailed sidewall lettering is used for product naming, sizing and identification purposes. Four tires are included in each package and they are currently offered in our Gold compound. They include medium firmness open cell inserts, and these tires use a 1″ bead mounting diameter with a 2″ overall size without inserts.
The new Landmines also use the same dimensions of the Tusk and are also sold in packs of four. The tires also use the same soft, Gold compound, but these include soft firmness open cell inserts. Just like their larger counterpart, this smaller version of the Landmines feature the same tread design with a center split-block that is sliced, stepped and recessed for maximum traction over many surfaces. There are also alternating cavity and solid pads which aid a driver when they move from pavement or a smooth dirt surface to one that consists of mud, dirt and rocks. Towards the outside of the carcass there are horizontal grippy pads with channels and edges to provide more forward climbing traction.
Landmines & Tusk Tires Pre-Mounted On Glide 5 & Hazard 1” Wheels For The Axial SCX24
To make things even easier for you we now offer our new SCX24 wheels and tires in pre-mounted configurations!
Each package will include four tires and wheels already mounted together so you can hit the scale trails even faster.
Both the Landmines and Tusk tires are available on either Glide 5 or Hazard wheels. Simply choose the combination of your choice, rip open the package, install them on your SCX24 and then let the fun begin!
Pre-Mounted Tires For The Losi Mini-T & Mini-B
Speaking of pre-mounts, we now offer an assortment of pre-mounted tires for Losi Mini-T & Mini-B owners too!
Our popular Ellipse tires have been shrunk down to a smaller size and are available in two different pre-mounted options. One option is a pre-mounted front tire for the Losi Mini-B. These tires are glued onto our new front Mono wheels that are offered in both yellow or white configurations.
These front Ellipse tire have a slightly wider carcass which allows a driver to hit high-speed sections more comfortably and will also help to smooth out the steering of the 2wd buggy. The tire also features a directional tread pattern and each tire is stuffed with open cell inserts, plus uses our Green compound.
We also offer these tires pre-mounted to yellow or white rear wheels too. These are sold in sets of two and will fit the rear of the Mini-B or the front and rear of the Mini-T. They are already glued for you and seated inside are our open cell inserts. They use our sticky, Green tire compound and the Ellipse was designed to excel on smooth high-grip indoor and outdoor surfaces which require a finely detailed connected bar pattern.
Also available are our Scorpios tires. These are pre-mounted to either yellow or white wheels and sold in packs of two. They will fit the rear of the Mini-B and can be used in both the front and the rear of the Mini-T. The Scorpios have a scale looking design thanks to their closely knit tread pattern.
The tread arrangement makes them ideal for transitioning from the hard road to dirt and then into rocky and uneven terrain. The tires use our super soft, Green compound and open cell inserts have been place inside for you already.
Our popular Swagger carpet tires are also now available as pre-mounts for the front of the Mini-B. They are glued to our newly designed Mono wheels and you can choose from yellow or white color options.
Thanks to the Swagger’s ultra-low-profile carcass they will help a driver to keep their mini 2wd buggy driving more predictable and consistent in high-grip conditions. Each package includes two pre-mounted tires and these are available in our Pink compound, plus open cell inserts are already packed inside.
Also available are our proven Twin Pin carpet tires. These are also sold in sets of two and already glued to either yellow or white wheels. They also use our proven carpet and AstroTurf Pink compound and open cell inserts are nestled inside. These can be purchased for use on the rear of the Mini-B or the front and rear of the Mini-T.
The Twin Pin features a dual connecting pin pattern with alternating positions. The center section of the tire is connected at the base by an ultra-low, winding “river walk” which strengthens pins near the base. The “river walk” can also extend the longevity of the tire once the pins are gone, the “walk” retains some height for emergency long distance main events.
