We start this week’s report out in sunny California where the team was competing at different events. Our first report comes to us courtesy of team driver John Caudillo who recently competed at Race #5 of the #keeprcfun Series at Ricochet R/C Raceway in El Centro. He raced in the Mod 4wd Buggy class and would set the TQ and finish 2nd for the round while running on Nessi tires in the rear and Fuzz Bites up front!

Also competing at this race was teammate Mike Sorchy in the Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy class. He would start 2nd overall for the A Main, and go on to take the win while rolling on Nessi and Swagger tires! Joining him on the podium in 2nd place was teammate, and top qualifier, Emma Ramirez!

Now we transition to SDRC Raceway in San Diego for our next report from JC driver Matt Barksdale. He competed at their Summer Solstice 3.0 race this past weekend which saw over 100 entries! He raced in three different classes and would finish 4th in Intermediate 13.5 4wd Buggy, 1st in Intermediate 17.5 2wd Buggy and another W in the 13.5 Stadium Truck class! All vehicles used sanded down Silver compound Ellipse tires.

Now we shoot over to Arlington, TX where Goldstar Hobbies is located at. This past weekend was the opening round of their Saturday Spring Fever Series and team driver Rhett McNair competed in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class. He would set the TQ and just miss out on taking the win while running fast on Fuzz Bite tires on all four corners, Mono wheels, a S2 shell and a Carpet | Astro High-Clearance 7″ Rear Wing!

Also competing at this race was teammate Mike Stoll, and he would just edge out Rhett for the win in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class while also running Fuzz Bite tires on all four corners!

That wasn’t the last event for Mike that weekend as he also raced at Shifty’s RC Raceway in Tulsa, OK. He competed in their Spring Fling race and finished 5th in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class and 2nd place in the 13.5 4wd Buggy class! Both cars used Nessi and Fuzz Bite tires, and joining him on the podium in 1st place was teammate Cameron Eaves!

Now let’s make our way over to HobbyTown Columbus in Columbus, GA to check on the team competing at their 8th annual Mega Buck Shoot-Out.

Starting with team driver Jason Westfall he reports that he competed in two classes. In Mod 2wd Buggy he would set the TQ and finish 2nd, and in the Mod Stadium Truck class he would take the win! Both rides used sanded down Silver compound Ellipse tires glued to Mono wheels plus a F2 and Finnisher body.

Teammate Patrick Rossiter Jr. competed in the 2wd SCT class and would set the TQ and finish 2nd while racing on Silver compound Ellipse tires and Hazard wheels! Joining him on the podium were teammates Tom Sherman (1st) and Justin Sherman (3rd) to complete the JConcepts sweep! Justin reported that his SCT used a HF2 body along with Hazard wheels.

Justin also raced in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class and locked up another 3rd place for the day while using Mono rims!

Heading up to the Northeast let’s get a few reports from the team who recently competed at RC Madness in Enfield, CT for their Turf Season Opener race event. Starting with JC driver Andrew Bishop he reported that he would take the TQ and win in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class while using a S2 body and Nessi and Swagger tires!

His fellow JC driver John Cravotta also competed in both the 17.5 2wd and 13.5 4wd Buggy classes and would finish 2nd in both, plus grab the TQ in the 13.5 4wd class! His 2wd car used a combination of Swagger and Nessi tires while his wheeler used Fuzz Bites.

Our final report comes to us from Australian team driver Jordan Isergin who recently competed at the opening round for the Polistena Cup held at Keilor Electric Off Road Car Association Inc. in Melbourne, Australia. The freshly oiled track allowed for super high traction that led to minimal tire wear and insanely fast laps! He would compete in both the Mod 2wd and 4wd Buggy classes and come away with the double TQ and win in both! His winning cars used Green and Silver compound Ellipse tires, F2 bodies and Aero S-Type 7″ Rear Wings.
