Summer has come to an end, but you can relive it once again by taking a look back at the latest products JConcepts released the past three months in this sizzling Summer edition of the JConcepts Product Rewind!
Kicking off the summer season was this new clear body designed for scalers with a 12.3″ wheelbase. That means it will fit a custom vehicle that matches those dimensions along with other popular vehicles on the market like the Traxxas TRX-4 Sport, Element Enduro and various Axial models.
This new body follows the success of similar popular bodies designed by JConcepts like the Creep and CreepER. It has a strong, retro look to it with a v-shaped nose to provide ample tire and steering clearance.
The rounded cab will be more forgiving with rollovers that frequently happen when a RC enthusiast hits the rocks, and the flat bed in the rear provides a canvas for scale builders to customize it even more for special projects. Each body includes an overspray film, window masks and decal sheets. Do note that in the product images the mirrors, door handles, and grab bars shown are not included, but are available separately on our Shapeways store.
This fuel bottle is comprised of smoke colored plastic material and topped off with a blue anodized aluminum neck ring and spout. The spout also includes a JConcepts.net logo for brand authenticity.
The bottle has graduation marks to let you know from a glance how much fuel is inside, and the end of the spout has an injection molded cover with an O-ring seal to keep fuel from leaking out during fast pit stops or when in storage.
A ventilation hole resides in the neck of the bottle and is covered by another cover which also contains a seal. This plug can be removed for quicker bottle fill-ins or fill-ups during routine racing or bashing sessions.
Electronic Power Module Digital On/Off Switch
This next release was also popular with nitro racers that were looking for a new option to control the on-board electronics on their vehicle. The JConcepts Electronic Power Module Digital On/Off Switch is a programmable unit that is compatible with both LiPo and NiMh packs. Using either type of battery the switch will give you a battery voltage indicator so you can eliminate the chance of a vehicle run off.
This device also includes a LED light to indicate you are in LiPo mode, and you can turn on and off the electronics with ease thanks to the handy push button.
The power module also includes wires with industry standard plugs, and built-in locations to attach this item to popular vehicles already out on the market.
2020 Ford Raptor BF Power Logo Monster Truck Clear Body
This new monster truck body was the result of another collaboration with JConcepts and the BIGFOOT 4X4 team. The body is 7.25″ wide and uses a semi-adjustable 12-13″ wheelbase to give you more flexibility.
This means it will bolt onto popular monster trucks like the Losi LMT or Axial SMT10, or any other custom build that fit these dimensions.
The body design features a scale inspired body, cab, and window, and is crafted from heavy-duty polycarbonate for more endurance. It also uses an extra cab window to help you boldly display your racing sponsors too. The rear of the body has a slightly recessed truck bed to allow for body mounting, a trimmable area for rollbars and the rear of the fender is recessed for the included taillight decals.
This body also comes with a mini racing flag with flexible poles, molded mounts to hold onto the flag, mock light buckets and lens covers. These parts are also sold separately if replacement parts are needed. A protective film, window masks and two decal sheets are also included to help you customize the final look of your truck build.
Pre-Mounted Landmines For The ARRMA Mojave
JConcepts then hit the easy button for ARRMA Mojave owners with this next release. Our popular Landmines tire are now available in a pre-mount configuration for this vehicle. Sold in pairs of two these tires are comprised of our Yellow medium compound, and also include our medium/hard open cell foam inserts. The tire itself uses a layout that features a split-block center design which has been sliced, stepped, and recessed for flexibility and contortion over sharp, loose, and polished surfaces.
Alternating solid and cavity pads are also used since they are ideal for transitioning from smooth dirt or pavement surfaces into dirt, mud, and rocky terrain. The outer area of the tire uses horizonal grippy pads with edges and channels to provide additional forward bite.
Next, we released another product option under our growing RM2 lineup. The RM2 Red Hot Tire Bands use the same flexible and durable materials of our popular Satellite rubber bands, but this product has a tighter diameter, plus the handles have been removed. By removing the handles this allows a racer to tidy up their pit space more, and reduce the amount of storage needed to store all of their gluing bands.
Each band uses the Red Hot coloring style that has been a recognizable part of the RM2 product line, and each RM2 Red Hot Tire Band also includes an embossed RM2 logo. These bands are compatible with smaller tires like carpet tires for 1/10 buggies to larger items like 1/8 truggy tires, and four bands are included in each package.
Stadium Truck Tire Inner Sidewall Support Adaptor
On many indoor dirt off-road tracks today the traction can be at an all-time high. Track surfaces can be naturally grippy or the high traction can be artificially created with glue or other sealing agents. This can increase your vehicle’s traction, but this can also make your car want to traction roll or oversteer more too. So the JConcepts design team worked with team drivers to develop a solution that is now available for stadium truck owners.
The JConcepts Stadium Truck Tire Inner Sidewall Support Adaptor is compatible with 2.2″ stadium truck tires and four pieces are included in each package. By adding the inner sidewall support adaptor and gluing it into place, the sidewall effectively becomes much harder and allows a driver to enter smoother arcs and radius turns on the race track. Simply glue one of the adaptors to the inside of the outer sidewall with your tire, and after it dries you can then mount the completed tire to the wheel. The adaptors are comprised from rubber material so they bond easily with glue, and they also can provide you more consistency when racing on tracks that are rough, bumpy or dusty too.
RM2 1/8 Buggy & Truggy Insert Bands
Right after that more RM2 option items were released. The RM2 1/8 Buggy and Truggy Insert Bands are designed to the fit the channels on our Dirt-Tech foam inserts. These bands will help to keep your inserts from expanding under acceleration, and shifting from side to side on the wheels inside your tire. They are comprised of black rubber material so as long as they are not damaged you can remove them and use them again for your next set of tires.
Each package includes 24 pieces and ideally you would use a band for each of the three grooves found in our foam inserts.
So with each package you can secure the foams inside eight different tires before putting them to work out on the track. We offer these bands for both 1/8 truggy and buggy, and the buggy bands can also be used for short course trucks tires too.
Triple Dees, Reflex, Detox & Stalkers Now Available In Aqua, A2 & A3 Compounds
Next, we announced that we now offer our proven A2 and A3 compounds in a wider selection of tires.
Our Triple Dees tires are now available in our A2 (medium soft, long-wear) compound for 1/8 trucks. These tires were designed with angular sharp pins and a low-profile edge. The center over-lap helps to increase the tire’s forward traction, and the overall carcass of the Triple Dees have been carefully shaped for rolling speed.
Our race proven Reflex tire for 1/8 buggies is now available in our A3 (soft, long-wear) compound too. The Reflex includes features like stacked tread for equal wearing, and a 83mm mounting bead size for 1/8 wheel compatibility. Its carefully shaped carcass will aid you with forward traction, and it also uses square angled pins that are stacked vertically to flex and fold evenly across the tire.
Our popular Detox tires for 1/8 buggy are also now available in our A3 (soft, long-wear) compound as well. The Detox uses a center structure which has hefty lugs arranged in a stacked configuration. These lugs have strategically placed cuts and grooves to allow flex in dusty conditions, while the outer portion of the tread fits together like building blocks. The tread tapers off cleanly to the outer sidewall giving a smooth transition during hard cornering.
Another 1/8 buggy tire that is now offered in our A3 (soft, long-wear) compound is the Stalkers. These tires use an enlarged square pin which has slight angle on each side. The angle creates some separation at the top which gives some bite in wet conditions providing some versatility to the design of the Stalkers. When the pins meet the base of the tire, the spacing tightens considerably giving a driver a more stable footing. The stacked row configuration and simple connected pins offer massive forward acceleration too.
B6.4 Fin Titanium Rear Shock Stand-Offs
These shock stand-offs are crafted from high-grade, machined titanium material and will bolt right onto the rear shock tower of the B6.4. They are also compatible with either the front or rear shock towers for the B74.1 as well. The base of the B6.4 Fin Titanium Rear Shock Stand-Offs use a 7mm hex size so you can easily install them onto the tower with your 7mm hex driver. Protruding from the other end are built in threads to reduce its overall weight, and eliminate the need for longer screws to pass through it from the back.
Hardware included are two 3x8mm BHCS and machined Delrin pivot bushings. These bushings slide over the stand-offs once they are attached to the shock tower with the 3x8mm screws. The bushings act like a buffer between the shock caps and the stand-offs themselves. These bushings are also sold separately if you need to replace them, and when you install them make sure to install the side with a taller shoulder towards the rear of the tower. This taller shoulder helps maintain the shock in the correct position without falling back on to the stand-off itself.
1985-1992 Ford BIGFOOT Ranger Clear Body
This new official licensed body is 6″ wide with an approximate wheelbase of 9.5″. That means it will work with custom builds that use those specs, or you can install it onto vehicles like the Traxxas Stampede or Team Associated Rival MT10. This retro looking body comes clear and captures that essence of the mid-sized truck that was popular in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
Using our included decals sheets you can peel off different headlight and grille combinations to prep this body to mimic a Ford Ranger from 1982-1992. Or, if you want to re-create the 1985 BIGFOOT Ranger we also include a second decal sheet with officially licensed BIGFOOT 4X4 decals.
The body itself uses square body styling with rigid side-panels with wheel flares for tire clearance. The front and rear bumper are built directly into the body, and the rear truck bed is recessed and you can paint it to look like a bed cover. Whichever way you decide to go with this body it will sure to be a hit on your next monster truck build!
Aluminum Fan & Honeycomb Motor Plate Set For The Traxxas Slash 4×4 LCG & Rustler 4×4
Up next was this hot release that was designed to keep your electronics running cool. The Aluminum Fan & Honeycomb Motor Plate Set is a direct fit for the Traxxas Slash LCG or Rustler 4×4. All the hardware needed to assemble and install this kit is included. The motor plate is constructed from billet aluminum, and anodized black with silver chamfered highlighted edging. Machined areas reveal our popular honeycomb design, and the aluminum will help to dissipate heat away from the motor too.
The included 30x30x10mm fan is also constructed from the same durable billet aluminum, and also uses the same color anodizing and silver chamfered highlighted edging. Attached to the fan is a medium-length wire with an industry standard JST plug that is compatible with several receivers on the market today. If you need a replacement fan down the road we do offer those separately too.

Pre-Mounted Nessi Tires On Mono Wheels
JConcepts makes it easier than ever to get out to carpet or AstroTurf tracks with the release of these new pre-mounted rear buggy tires. The Nessi is now available in a pre-mounted configuration on our proven Mono wheels.
You can choose between white or yellow wheel color options, and both of them include open cell, medium inserts. The Nessi shares its styling cues from our Lockness tire, and it features a low-profile, wide stance carcass, plus semi-circle protrusions for side-bite.
S2 Clear Body For The B6.4 & B6.4D
Our popular S2 body design is now available for the latest 2wd car from Team Associated. The S2 body will fit both the B6.4 and B6.4D, and we offer it in both standard and lightweight options.
The design of the body incorporates an aggressive, progressive cab and a channeled roof with a center stabilizer. The upper side-pods can be removed to help cool your electronics, and cut lines are included on the shell to neatly finish around the chassis, steering, and transmission area of the B6.4 vehicles.
Each body also includes two Carpet | Turf rear wings, a JConcepts decal sheet, an overspray film and window masks.
Monster Truck Light Bucket, Flags With Mounts, Boots & Bump Stops Set
These next items can be used as replacement parts for our 2020 Ford Raptor BF Power Logo Monster Truck clear body, or pick them up for your next monster truck project.
Each package includes five different colored light bucket boots with matching rubber shock bump stops. The colors included are white, black, yellow, pink, and blue. Also included are injection molded light buckets with caps in a brilliant chrome finish.
Five flexible flag poles are also included with three of them colored blue while the other two are black in color.
Three molded white flags also come in the package and are pre-printed with JC, JConcepts Speed Shop, and Regulator logos. Mounting hardware for the flags are also included as well as a decal sheet that can be used to cover the light cover boots.
Next, we released a new shirt under the Ryan Maifield Momentum (RM2) product line. The RM2 T-Shirt features a large graphic on the front with a blazing red logo identifying the brand, and written out in printed white ink, the signature name. Flip it over to the backside to see an all red “no apologies” tag line that is dedicated to the racers who wear their heart on their sleeve. The shirt is also colored in stealth black, made from 100% cotton and available in multiple sizes.
Big Bore Shock Limiter & Up-Travel Kits
We followed that up with these option parts to help 1/10 and 1/8 vehicle owners dial in their suspension adjustments The internal down travel limiters will adjust the down travel on your shocks and are available in precision molded 1, 2, 3, and 6mm length options. The outside limiters are also available in the same length options, and can be quickly installed on your shock shaft by clipping them on.
Also included are clip based shock ride height adjusters that are commonly used in Traxxas vehicles. Simply clip on or off these adjusters to change your ride height, and you can use these for additional adjustments or to replace any lost stock adjusters.
These are available in black, yellow or white color options, each set includes 24 total pieces and these are also compatible with 3.0 or 3.5mm shock shafts.
RM2 Big Bore Shock Limiter & Up-Travel Kit
We also offer these kits in the familiar RM2 red color scheme. Just like the other kits, these also include 24 total pieces and are compatible with 3.0 or 3.5mm shock shafts.
The same external clip based shock ride height adjusters and outside and inside limiters are in each package, but now colored in bright red.
JConcepts now offers bearing sets for popular 1/8 off-road buggies. These new stainless steel bearings use NMB quality standards and are manufactured with precise tolerances.
Bearing sets are available for the HB D819RS, D8T Evo 3 and E819RS, along with the Mugen MBX8-R and MBX8 Eco and finally the Team Associated RC8B4 and RC8B4e.
2022 Chevrolet Copo Camaro Clear Drag Racing Body
We followed that up with a new officially licensed body for RC drag racing fans. The 2022 Chevrolet Copo Camaro clear body is 11″ wide with a wheelbase of 13″.
That means it is compatible with popular vehicles like the Team Associated DR10 and DR10M, the Losi 22S and the Traxxas Drag Slash. The Copo (Central Office Production Order) Camaro is a special-order item from General Motors outfitted to get down the track in a hurry, and this new body captures the scale features on the latest generation from Chevrolet.
It features a chiseled and scowling front-end with a recessed front grille and headlights, a built-in front splitter and other structural features for stability and a racing roofline with center channeling.
The body includes overspray film and window masks, plus two decal sheets to help you customize the final look of your body before sending it down the dragstrip.
Pre-Mounted Landmines For The Traxxas Slash
Our popular Landmines tires are now available in a pre-mounted configuration for Traxxas Slash owners too. Sold in pairs of two these tires come already glued to our Black Hazard wheels for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 (front and rear) and Slash 2wd (rear only). The tires use our proven strong, Yellow compound and use the industry standard 2.2” x 3.0” dimensions.

Pre-Mounted Smoothie 2 Buggy Tires
JConcepts once again hits the “easy button” for customers by releasing our slick tires in a pre-mounted configuration!
We offer both front and rear mounted tires for 2wd and 4wd buggies. Each option uses our indoor Silver compound and they are stuffed with our race proven gray Dirt-Tech inserts.
Each selection uses our Mono wheels, and you can choose them in either yellow or white wheel color options. However, at this time the front 4wd pre-mounts are only available in white, but yellow wheels are planned very soon.
S15 Clear Body For The TLR 8ight-X 2.0 & XE
Debuting at this year’s IFMAR 1:8 Off-Road Worlds in Redovan, Spain, this new clear body blends performance features on the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets and a rear stabilizer kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability.
The engine area remains clean, and a deep-rooted position allows the engine head maximum side exposure to air and escape. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and it is a drop-fit for both the TLR 8ight-X 2.0 and XE models.
Each body also includes a protective film, plus window masks and a decal sheet for your custom paint job.
F2I 1/8 Buggy & Truggy Wing Now Available In Gray
Our popular F2I rear wing for 1/8 buggies and truggies is now available in a new gray color option. This 2nd generation Finnisher wing is IFMAR legal, and 5 individual dividers have been designed to run along the length of the wing.
These will aid a driver by adding more straight-line stability and they also connect the lower and upper decks of the wing. The design also incorporates an industry first built-in gurney that eliminates the need to add additional pieces, hardware or items. Along with the new gray color option the F2I is also still available in black, yellow or white.
Pre-Mounted Hawk & Animal Tires For The Losi Mini-B & Mini-T 2.0
Our popular Hawk and Animal tires that were developed for 1/10 short course trucks are now available for the Losi Mini-B and Mini-T 2.0. Starting up front with the Hawk these tires come pre-mounted to either yellow or white wheels. These are sold in pairs of two and are intended to be used as front tires for the Mini-B.
The narrow carcass and ribbed design will help you pilot your mini through loamy dirt, sand and possibly some snowy conditions. Each tire includes an installed open cell insert for extra cushion during jump landings, and the tire uses our grippy Green compound.
The Animal was designed to be used in the rear of both the Losi Mini-B & Mini-T 2.0 as well as a front tire option for the Mini-T. They are also pre-mounted to either yellow or white wheels and use our open cell inserts. The design of the tires uses strategically placed upper paddles with a scoop shape to thrust into any patch of terrain and blow right through it.
So you can use these tires to sling away loose dirt, sand and even snow. The design of this tread pattern also uses mocked removed sections for a full scale appearance, are sold in pairs and comprised of our super soft Green compound.
Mono Front Wheels For The Losi Mini-B
Next, we released these front wheels for the Losi Mini-B. The Mono front wheel is available in both yellow and white color options and is a direct fit for the Mini-B.
The design of the wheel features the popular dish styling and detail, and it also incorporates light-weight pockets inside which surround the wheel nut. A slightly textured tire bead for mounting security has also been added, and four wheels are included in each package.
RM2 Pre-Cut Chassis Protective Sheet For The B6.4
We then followed that up with another release under the RM2 product line. This chassis protective sheet is a direct fit for the Team Associated B6.4 and B6.4D, and it features the signature “no apologies” in the center location in blazing red. Two chassis sheets are included in each package along with six replacement tail or rear chassis pieces.
These extra tails will come in handy if you frequently remove the transmission bolts located on the bottom of the chassis. Along with the blazing red colors you will also see stealth black, heavy gray undertones and complete installation instructions can be found on our website.
P2 Clear Body For The B6.4 & B6.4D
Next, we released our P2 body that was designed for the Team Associated B6.4 and B6.4D. The P2 is sold clear and available in both our standard and lightweight options. Many design features are used in this new body like a raised nose and hood along with a taller cab. Side-pods have been chamfered to give it that distinct look and the cab also uses a secondary window.
The cab drops off quickly and runs deep toward the rear giving plenty of drift to the newly added winglets. The tall, rear fin stabilizer acts as a vane to keep the buggy tracking in the proper direction while also maintaining a rigid roof-line even with light-weight materials.
Either body option includes a protective overspray film, windows masks, a detailed decal sheet and two Carpet | Turf | Dirt rear wings.
JConcepts Pre-Cut Chassis Protective Sheet For The B6.4
Our final product release of the Summer was the JConcepts Pre-Cut Chassis Protective Sheet For The B6.4. Just like the RM2 version this chassis sheet is pre-cut for you and is a direct fit for the Team Associated B6.4 and B6.4D. It features the JConcepts brand name with italicized graphics in a high-speed fashion.
This chassis protector is suitable for off-road dirt, carpet and turf surfaces and is manufactured from highly durable materials. Two sheets are included per package and each sheet also contains three replacement rear chassis pieces. Please refer to our website for complete installation instructions.
