Friday5 With Team Driver Cameron Shaw

In this edition of the JConcepts Friday5 we talk to Michigan team driver, Cameron Shaw!

1. Which professional driver did you follow when you first started RC racing, and why? Or perhaps you followed a local or regional driver?

The first driver I followed was Ryan Maifield. I always loved watching him drive because he was always so fast.

2. For this year, what races are you looking forward to attending and why? 

I really look forward to going to the NCTS races for this year. Carpet is the most fun I’ve had racing RC cars in a long time.

3. From your experience what is the easiest AND hardest maintenance task on your RC cars?

The easiest thing to maintain on the cars are shocks. The hardest thing is probably making the car stay clean.

4. Name one JConcepts product that you feel is overlooked by many but you find it very useful.

I really like the JConcepts shock limiters. They are very useful and save a lot of time.

5. Besides RC racing, what other activities do you enjoy?

I really enjoy riding dirt bikes and fishing. I usually am doing both of these when I’m not wrenching on my cars.
