Friday5 With Team Driver Nolan Manchester

In this edition of the JConcepts Friday5 we talk to Florida team driver, Nolan Manchester!

1. When you first got into RC racing, what pro driver did you look up to and why? Or maybe there was a local/regional driver that you followed?

When I first started racing I really looked up to Kenny and Lee Setser because they were both super helpful and raced at our local track SS Hobbies & Raceway.

2. What is your biggest win to date and why?

My biggest win to date was probably this year’s Sunshine State Memorial Day Salute at Newberry RC Park. I set the TQ and won in A1 and A2 of the AAA mains so I didn’t have to run the third main in Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy. This race was my first experience with AAA mains, and I was glad to have such success with such tough competition!

3. For this year, what races are you looking forward to attending and why?

I am looking forward to attending Masters Of Dirt RC Championships and Florida Carpet Championships the most because of the tough competition, and we had such a great time attending these last year!

4. In your opinion, when heading to the track what is the JConcepts product that is a must have on race day and why?

A must have JConcepts product on race day is of course the JConcepts tires because it would be hard to make it around the track as fast as we do without them.

5. Name one thing people might be surprised to know about you.

One thing people might be surprised to know about me is I love to play sports, and I used to play soccer before I got into RC racing.
