2024 RC Chili Bowl JConcepts Report

This past week the JConcepts team headed out to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the largest RC Dirt Oval race in the world, the RC Chili Bowl. The event runs in conjunction with The Chili Bowl which is the largest full-sized Midget race in the world.

Big thank you to Monty Hess and his crew for having our tent setup when we showed up all ready for a display to be setup and racing to begin. While official releases have not been made, we were proud to bring some new tread patterns and options to display at the event for people to check out and enjoy. Watch out for those items to roll out in the future.

Velocity Sprint Car Build With JConcepts

JConcepts was proud to be a title sponsor for the Masters Sprint class this past weekend as well as the chosen tire for the Outlaw Sprint and Masters Sprint classes with the popular Sprinter tread pattern!

Open practice started Monday afternoon and continued Tuesday Morning. Then drivers went into a single round of seeding practice with the 5 fastest laps from the round counting. Following seeding is 3 rounds of qualifying. The qualifiers are sorted by seeding time with each of the fastest and slowest drivers spread across each of the heat races evenly for the first round. The second round is an invert of the finishing order of the first round. The final round has all the drivers separated across heats in order of their finishes from the first two rounds. Every round of qualifying counts and the tie breaker is the seeding time.
