In this edition of the JConcepts Friday5 we talk to Michigan team driver, Brayden Hauch!
1. How did you first hear about RC car racing? Once got started what class did you participate in to begin with and why?
I always grew up driving around my original SC10 up down my road. My dad had told me about he and my grandpa racing growing up and I always thought it was very neat! Then one Christmas I woke up to a box with a set of JConcepts tires and body for my SC10!
2. For 2024 what races, series, or other RC related event are you looking forward to attending and why?
In 2024 I am looking forward to attending the JConcepts INS14 races, especially the one at Trackside Hobbies & Raceway! Always a good time over there with the Wisconsin boys, they run a great program and are amazing people.
3. In your opinion what is your biggest personal win to date and why?
My biggest accomplishment was getting the TQ for one of the rounds at the 2022 Team Associated Off-Road Championships in the 13.5 Stadium Truck class, then following that with a P4 finish.
4. When it comes to new products released from JConcepts, what are you most excited to see released and why?
I can’t wait for the new bodies for the Team Associated B7. The JConcepts bodies have all been a personal favorite for me!
5. Besides piloting a RC car what other hidden talent or skill set do you possess that might surprise someone?
I play baseball, fish, and run my own bible study outside of racing that I greatly enjoy!
