The Quest for the Best: 2026 Indoor National Series

The 2026 JConcepts Indoor National Series marks a milestone season: year 16.
For sixteen years, the Indoor National Series (INS) has served as the gold standard for 1/10th scale off-road racing in the United States. Today, we are beyond hyped to head in to the 2026 season schedule.

Five races. One title. Best 3 of 5 scores count.

Why INS16 Matters
Sixteen seasons in, the INS continues to set the pace for 1/10th scale off-road racing in the United States. Different regions. Different track styles. One championship chase. The INS16 is designed to challenge every facet of a racer’s skill set, from the high-grip clay of the Midwest to the technical mastery required at our most storied venues. This isn’t just another racing series; it’s a pursuit of excellence that demands “World Proven Innovation and Design” in every corner and on every jump.

Format
The format stays simple: Best 3 of 5. Show up strong. Stay consistent. Race for the title. This structure is designed to reward consistency and travel, while still allowing drivers to drop their lower scores. To be crowned an INS champion, you have to perform across different racing surfaces, different layouts, and against different local heroes. You can’t just be fast for one weekend; you have to be “INS Fast” all year long.
Consistency is the name of the game. Whether you are chasing a Modified podium or fighting for a win in the Independent classes, every lap counts toward that final tally in October.

See You There
This is the 16th season of the JConcepts Indoor National Series. A milestone year. A stacked schedule. A full season of indoor racing at premier stops across the Midwest.

Looking Back: The Momentum of INS15
As we dive into 2026, we have to acknowledge the incredible bar set by the 15th anniversary season. The INS15 concluded at the Hoosier RC Hobbyplex with an explosive finale that saw over 250 entries. The atmosphere was electric, and the talent on display was nothing short of world-class.
Broc Champlin put on a masterclass performance, securing both the 2wd and 4wd Modified titles in a display of sheer dominance and focus. Meanwhile, Nate Sutherland proved that the next generation of speed is already here, taking the top spot in both the Expert 17.5 2wd and 13.5 4wd classes. These drivers didn’t just win; they set the blueprint for what it takes to succeed in a series where the margins are measured in thousandths of a second. The level of competition was incredible, and it has set the stage for an even bigger, faster, and more intense 16th season.

See you at the track, drivers.
