The annual Psycho Nitro Blast took place this past weekend in White Pine, Tennessee and lived up to the name as it does every year with over 720 entries packing in for the psycho event. The track and event crew put in a fantastic layout as well as the high production quality we have all come to expect for a Racetime Entertainment event. #GoJConcepts
Practice kicked things off with the 24 hours of uninterrupted track time that racers look forward to every year at this event. Racers were treated to ample opportunities to hit the track with even the most psycho waking up in the middle of the night for some less busy sessions.
The team used a combination of pin tires and bar tires throughout the event, starting with Reflex and Relapse in practice and qualifying, and for the main events quite a few opted for bar tires with the track gaining grip late in the event. Most used green and blue compound tires from start to finish.
Racers battled it out in 2 rounds of qualifying with the best 1/2 qual-points counting towards main event starting positions. The team had a fantastic qualifying effort with the following results:
