Race Team Update – April 2026 Week #1

Last weekend the JConcepts race team continued to fool the competition as they raced their way to the top of the podium. Read about our latest success in this new edition of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report up at Trackside Hobbies & Raceway in Brookfield, WI. Last Saturday was the finals for their Saturday Night Fever series that was held over 10 rounds. Team driver Tyler Aubart would attend the finals and finish the series with a 8th place finish in 13.5 4wd Buggy, 5th overall in 17.5 2wd Buggy and 3rd place in Mod 2wd Buggy!

Bouncing over to the Hooiser state we now stop in at Jammer’s Raceway in Indianapolis. This past weekend they hosted the Indiana State Off Road Carpet Champs, and team driver Bryson Furnish would finish in 3rd place in 13.5 Stadium Truck and 13.5 4wd Buggy along with 1st place in 17.5 2wd Buggy!

Also competing there for the team was JC driver Tucker Mitchel. He also competed in the same classes and would finish 3rd in 17.5 2wd Buggy while grabbing the W in the 13.5 4wd Buggy and Stadium Truck classes!

Working our way to West Virginia we now stop in at Altitude RC in Beckley. Last weekend they held their Coaltown Showdown, and team driver Aaron Pendleton would finish 4th in 17.5 2wd Buggy along with the TQ and win in the Expert 13.5 Stadium Truck class!

His tire teammate Colton Bias would finish 2nd overall in the Sportsman 17.5 2wd Buggy class!

Next, we make our way to Trains and Lanes Hobbies in Easton, PA. This past weekend team driver Jonathan Sohl attended this track to compete in their season opener.

He competed in the 1/8 Electric Buggy class and would finish the day in 13th place!

JConcepts driver Vin Manchanda competed in both the 1/8 Electric Buggy and Truggy classes and he would just miss out making the A Mains for both!

His son and fellow JC pilot Aydan Manchanda would TQ both of these classes! He would then race on to finish 3rd in e truggy and 2nd place in e buggy!

Sending it south we now stop in at Minimus R/C Raceway and Hobbies in Hughesville, MD. Last weekend team driver Brian Miskolczi went there to thrown down some left turn laps, and he would finish the day 2nd overall in the Mudboss class along with the W in Street Stock!

Heading south even more now we make our way to Rocket City Radio Controlled Race Club (RC3) in Huntsville, AL. There we find team driver Randy Enger who was throwing down fast laps for their Tiny Trophy season opener last weekend. When the dust had settled he would finish with the double TQ in the 1/8 Electric Buggy and Truggy classes, then drive on to finish 2nd in e buggy plus picked up the win in e truggy!

Now we cross the border for our final reports. Last weekend the Big Barn Shootout took place in Chilliwack in British Columbia, Canada. This event brought out 359 entries so let’s see how the team finished starting with team driver Tyler Wilbur. He would sign up for the 1/8 Nitro Buggy class and after racing in the 30 minute final he would cross the finish line in 2nd place!

Also competing there for the team was fellow JC pilot Evan Roeth. He competed in two classes and would finish 2nd in 1/8 Electric Buggy, plus he would set the TQ and take home the win in the 1/8 Electric Truggy class!
