2026 ROAR 1/10th Scale Dirt Off-Road Nationals JConcepts Team Report

Just a few short days after the 1/8th scale off-road Worlds Warm-Up, a large contingent of the JConcepts team headed to San Diego, California for the ROAR 1/10th Scale Dirt Off-Road Nationals hosted by SDRC Raceway.

170 total entries made their way to the West Coast to battle it out for 8 national titles. The event started with a day of controlled practice Thursday, followed by Seeding and 1 round of qualifying Friday. Saturday held 3 rounds of qualifying followed by the main events on Sunday.

The first time racers were on the clock officially for something that mattered was Seeding and the team got it going with the following results.

Moving into qualifying racers would have 4 rounds with the best 2/4 rounds counting and no bump-ups for the mains. 10 racers qualified directly to each main event.

Every class would have triple main events to decide who would be the national champions for 2026. Check out all of the results below.

2wd Modified: TQ, Dakotah Phend, would get away clean in A1 and A2 to wrap the overall up early. This left just the remaining podium positions open. Aydin Horne would take the win in A3 giving him 2nd overall and Spencer Rivkin would round out the podium in 3rd. Shoutout to Brennan Schimmel and Levi Raymond for moving forward in the main events and finishing just off the box.

4wd Modified: Once again the pole sitter, this time Chase Lemieux, would take the wins in A1 and A2 to wrap up the title early. Broc Champlin would win A3 and take the 2nd place overall with teammate Spencer Rivkin rounding out the overall podium in 3rd.
