JConcepts has added titanium 8-32 screw options for vintage vehicles. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, these screws were highly sought after and used on many versions of the RC10, RC10T, RC10GT, and other variants of the iconic platform. Available in 1/4”, 5/16”, and 1/2” lengths, the three options allow racers to outfit multiple locations on their vehicle. Each screw is custom machined to fit the proprietary countersunk locations found on vintage chassis and components. Precision-cut threads engage plastic securely while also threading smoothly into aluminum and steel components.
Titanium offers exceptional strength, excellent fatigue resistance, and maintains its brilliant appearance once installed. For RC10 enthusiasts, the 1/2” screws are the most used on the front and rear suspension mounts and rear bulkhead. The 1/4” length is used at the tip of the front nose piece on RC10, RC10T, and RC10GT vehicles and is often the one that’s hardest to find in the parts box when it’s needed most. The 5/16” length was developed for the JConcepts Gen 2 steering bellcrank assembly and is also ideal anywhere reduced thread exposure is preferred.
Each screw features a precision-machined flat titanium head with a 3/32” hex drive, maintaining compatibility with standard RC10 hardware while delivering a premium factory appearance.
