Race Team Update – June 2026 Week #3

Six months are in the books for the JConcepts race team and they show no signs of slowing down. See where we won at this past week in this new installment of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report out in sunny California. Round 3 of the JBRL 1:10 Off-Road Series took place at Coyote Hobbies in Victorville, and team driver Connor Esbeck would end the day with a 5th place finish in Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy, plus the TQ and 2nd place in 13.5 Stadium Truck class along with another 2nd place finish in Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy!

Staying in Cali we now visit The Racers Den in Rancho Cordova. JC driver Kyle Layton competed in their money race this past Sunday, and he would cash in while competing in the Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy class with a TQ and W!

Now we head up to Loosenuts Raceway in North Branch, MN for our next report. This track was host to Round 2 of the Minnesota Off-Road Series so let’s see how the team finished up starting with JConcepts driver Josh Ford.

He competed in the 1/8 Nitro Buggy and Truggy classes, and in nitro buggy he would finish 5th overall, while in truggy he would take the win by over 23 seconds on 2nd place!

Taking the win in the nitro buggy class was team driver Seth VanDalen and he was joined by team drivers Kyle Holmberg (2nd) and Tyler Aubart (3rd) to complete the JConcepts podium sweep!

Heading south on I-35 we now head to Iowa for a few race reports from the team. Our first stop in the state is at The RC Compound in Dallas Center.

This large, outdoor off-road facility was hosting a two day trophy race, and team driver Joe Zaier Jr. reported that he took 2nd place in the 1/5 Nitro Truck class!

Moving down Highway 44 we now make our way to Send It R.C. Speedway at Dallas County Fairgrounds in Adel. This dirt oval track hosted their Triple Crown Nationals last Saturday night, and team driver David Fast was living up to his name as he set the TQ in both the Open Sprint and Late Model classes, then drove to finish 6th in Sprint plus picked up the win in Late Model!

Moving over to Michigan let’s get a few racing updates from team driver Jeff Todd. The past two Saturdays he has been busy competing with his Losi NASCAR as he took two wins and set two new track records while competing at Cochran’s RC2 in Okemos and Limitless RC in city of Millington!

Jumping down to Jammer’s Raceway in Indianapolis, IN we get our next report from team driver Bryson Furnish. He recently competed there for a trophy event and would finish 6th in 17.5 2wd Buggy along with a 3rd place finish in 13.5 4wd Buggy! Taking 1st place in the wheeler class was his tire teammate Tucker Mitchel! Tucker would also grab another TQ and win in 17.5 buggy as well!

Onto to Ohio we now visit TARCAR in city of Toledo. Over the weekend this facility held their Nitro vs.. Electric trophy event so let’s see how the team faired starting with JC pilot Kyle King.

He reported that he took the win in the 1/8 Electric Buggy class, and it was another podium sweep for the JConcept team as fellow JC drivers Aaron Buran (2nd) and Tony Sosnowicz (3rd) filled out the podium!

JConcepts driver Mike Legue competed in three classes, and he would end the event with a 4th place finish 1/8 Electric Buggy, 3rd place in 1/8 Nitro Buggy, plus the TQ and win in the 1/8 Nitro Truggy class!

Heading east we now stop in at Riverview RC Raceway in Jersey Shore, PA. This track hosted Round 4 of the Underdog Series last weekend, and team driver Matt Adams competed in four classes with great results!

  • Midget Sprint = TQ and 1st place
  • 360 Sprint = TQ and 1st place
  • Mod Late Model = 2nd place
  • 410 Sprint = 2nd place

He also earns our coveted ‘ironman’ award this week for competing in the most classes at a single RC event!

Working our way down to West Virginia we stop in at Altitude RC in city of Beckley. Last weekend they held their opening round of their Summer points series, and team driver Casey Bias would take the TQ and win in 13.5 4wd Buggy along with another win in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class! Taking the TQ and 3rd place in the 17.5 class was fellow JC driver Brent Hatcher!

His son Colton would lock up the final podium spot in the Novice 17.5 2wd Buggy class too!

For our final report we now head south to RC3 (Rocket City Radio Controlled Race Club) in Huntsville, AL. This past weekend they held their 1st Annual Summer Sizzler trophy race, and team driver Randy Enger was cooking the competition as he took the double TQ and win in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy and Truggy classes! Joining him on the e buggy podium to complete another sweep for the team were JC drivers Robert Romano (2nd) and Trevor Michael (3rd)!
