Available in 2 different densities, the soft is most often used in the traditional pink and new brown compound. The medium density insert is used more for purple compound or when the grip of the surface has reached its highest potential. Rear tires in the normal configuration typically arrive with a standard insert and as built as wide as the rear tire / wheel combination. The React inserts are produced a bit narrower for more lateral deflection and sidewall cushion.
