The JConcepts team lead by Broc Champlin headed to PDX RC Raceway in Portland, Oregon for the JConcepts West Coast Carpet Championships this past weekend. Just under 200 entries headed to the host track for the 2027 ROAR 1/10th Scale Carpet Off-Road Nationals to battle it out for the WCCC trophies.
Practice would take place all day Friday with Qualifying on Saturday and the Main Events Sunday. Each class would have 3 qualifying rounds with the best 2/3 rounds counting in qual-points format. Every class would have double or triple a-mains with multiple classes even having double lower mains.
The JConcepts team would top the charts in 3 classes in qualifying with drivers in the top 3 on the grid in quite a few others.
