In this edition of the JConcepts Friday5 we talk to Texas team driver, Hunter La Flower!
1. Which professional driver did you follow when you first started RC racing, and why? Or perhaps you followed a local or regional driver?
Ryan Maifield has always been my favorite to watch! The way he drives and the control he has while going so fast is always fun.
2. Name a RC class that you would like to see increase in popularity and why?
I would love to see Mod 2wd Buggy grow in my area. It is by far my favorite class to run, but we just don’t have a big following in my area.
3. From your experience what is the easiest AND hardest maintenance task on your RC cars?
Hardest maintenance would be just checking or changing a clutch on 1/8 nitro car. Easiest for me would be keeping the oils fresh in the shocks and diffs.
4. JConcepts is well known for its tires and bodies, but in your opinion what tool or accessory is a must have on race day that other drivers might overlook?
I think that the Aluminum Camber and Ride Height Gauges are the most overlooked tool. They look great, are compact and easy to keep in your tool box.
5. Besides RC cars, what other hobbies are you into?
Besides racing, I like to play videos games with my friends!
