Race Team Update – June 2026 Week #1

We are halfway through the year and the JConcepts race team continues to kick things into high gear on tracks around the globe. Read where in the world we were dominating at in this new edition of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report up in the Pacific Northwest at Tacoma RC Raceway in Tacoma, WA. This track hosted the ROAR Region 11 Championship last weekend that saw 147 entries! Team driver Andrew Beauchamp signed up for two classes and he would end the event with a 5th place finish in Mod 4wd Buggy along with the final podium spot in Mod 2wd Buggy! Joining him on the mod 2wd podium were team mates Austin Cracknell (1st) and Harley Yoshii (2nd) to complete the JConcepts podium sweep!

Sending it south we now visit sunny California to get some updates from the team competing in different events. Starting with JC driver Jessica Dahl she spent last weekend crushing the competition at Round 5 of the SoCal Monster Truck Racing Series that took place at The Boneyard in the city of Menifee. She competed in the Freestyle class and took the win and currently sits as the points leader in this class too!

Our next stop in the state is at Auburn RC in the city of Auburn. Last weekend they held their 2026 Gold Rush Rumble, and team driver Rob Moots struck it big as he finished 4th in Stadium Truck along with two 1st place finishes in 40+ Mod 2wd ad 13.5 4wd Buggy which also included the TQ in the 40+ class!

Our last stop in the state is at SpeedLot RC Raceway in Ramona. Round 2 of the Top Notch Series took place there, and team driver Don Vinkemulder was in top form as he finished 2nd in 40+ 1/8 Nitro Buggy along with picking up the win in the Intermediate 1/8 Nitro Buggy class!

Next, we head over to Peak View RC Raceway in Spanish Fork, UT for our next update. Team driver Sam Ford drove his chevy past the levy to compete in a special Steven Bess Memorial Race over the weekend. He signed up for two classes and would finish up 2nd overall in both the 1/8 Nitro and Electric Truggy classes!

Moving over to Minnesota let’s get a few updates from the team competing in different events. Starting with JConcepts driver Marco Moreno last weekend he went to the RC Underground in Warren to compete in the opening round of their Summer Series and came out on top with some great results!

  • 1/8 Electric Truggy – TQ and 1st place
  • 1/10 Mini Truggy – TQ and 1st place
  • 1/8 Electric Buggy – 3rd place

Our second update from the state is from JC pilot Thor Ott. This past weekend he attended the annual Electric Boogie race at LSRCC (Lake Superior RC Car Club) in Proctor. He competed in the Mod 2wd Buggy with his vintage ride and would drop the hammer on the competition by grabbing the TQ and W!

Wiggling our way down to West Virginia we now catch up with team driver Wade Piggott. This past weekend he was in the town of Lavalette where Tri-Cities RC Racing is located at so he could duke it out in their Brawl For It All trophy race. He registered for the 1/8 Nitro and Electric Buggy classes and left the competition seeing stars as he took the double TQ and win!

Crossing the state line we now make our way to Dayton, VA for this quick update from team driver Javon Mallory. Last weekend he went to the Tiltyard to compete in their season opener, and he would end the event with two 1st place finishes in the 1/8 Nitro and Electric Buggy classes!

Moving south we now visit G3RC Raceway in Bessemer City, NC. Last weekend they held their Race For The Crazies event, and team driver Derrick Harris would throw down some crazy fast laps as he finished 8th in Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy and 5th overall in 1/8 Electric Truggy!

Sending it more south we now stop in at Phil Hurd Raceway in Savannah, GA. This past weekend was their Colonel’s Classic, and team driver Owen Simmons would finish the event with a 6th place finish in 1/8 Electric Truggy, plus the double TQ and win in the Sportsman 1/8 Nitro and Electric Buggy classes!

Moving west we now get this quick update from JC driver Randy Enger. This past weekend he went to RC3 (Rocket City Radio Controlled Race Club) in Huntsville, AL to compete in the 4th round of their Summer Series. He was on point once again as he took the double win in the 1/8 Electric Buggy and Truggy classes which also included a TQ in e truggy!

Shooting over to Texas we get our next update from team driver Tony Hinojosa. Recently he went to the Raceparty RC Complex in El Paso to compete in Round 1 of the Tex-Mex Shootout. He competed in three classes and would finish 4th in 1/8 Nitro Truggy, 3rd in 1/8 Electric Truggy and 1st place in 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy!

Moving north again we now visit the “Show me state” for a few team updates. Starting with team driver Jake Stoeltzing he reported that he recently competed at Fastlane Raceway in Blue Springs where he took the TQ and win in the Mod 2wd Buggy class at the most recent round of their Sizzling Summer Series!

Our next update from the state comes to us courtesy of team driver Daniel Agosh. This past Sunday he went to the Childress RC Racing racing series near the town of Sullivan, and he would make four semi finals plus won the Chicago style racing division with his Virginia Giant replica!

Now let’s get some updates from our Australian race team who recently competed in Mallee Madness 18 which is the 2nd round of the Victorian Drivers series. This event took place in Mildura and brought out 120 entries to compete on the red outdoor dirt track. When the dust had settled team driver Dan Coller would double up with two wins in the 17.5 2wd and 13.5 4wd Buggy classes! JC driver Ray Munday would grab two wins in the Mod 2wd Buggy and Mod Stadium Truck classes! JConcepts driver Jordan Isergin would set the TQ in Mod 2wd then drive on to finish 3rd in that class plus Mod 4wd Buggy!

Their tire teammate Jayden Edmunds would grab the TQ and win in the Mod 4wd Buggy class as well!
