Now that the busy holiday season is in the rear view mirror, please take a minute to review what was new the last three months in this Fall edition of the JConcepts Product Rewind!
2010 Ford Raptor Angels BIGFOOT Clear Monster Truck Body
Our first release of the fall was this officially licensed 2010 Ford Raptor Angels BIGFOOT 4×4 clear monster truck body. The body measurements of this new shell are 7.50” in width and a 12-13” semi-adjustable wheelbase which make it compatible with a variety of platforms including solid axle race trucks.
This new body includes two decal sets. One is our standard decal set with JC livery and Ford emblems, and the other set in the B envelope is the Angels BIGFOOT 4×4 decal package. With the included decal sheets you can recreate one of the more famous paint schemes that BIGFOOT produced in 2015.
The body also includes an overspray film and is manufactured from heavy-duty polycarbonate to take some abuse in competitions or general bashing.
2010 Ford Raptor Summit Racing BIGFOOT “Scallop” Clear Monster Truck Body
Next, we released this same officially licensed 2010 Ford Raptor clear body with another exciting decal package. This new offering captures the Summit Racing BIGFOOT 4×4 paint scheme that was prevalent in 2016.
Included with this body are three different decal sheets. Two decals sets are tucked inside the B envelope. Inside of it you will find the officially licensed BIGFOOT and Summit Racing decals, and we have also included a separate sheet of blue “scallop drops” to complete the final look of this familiar paint scheme.
The other decal sheet is our standard JConcepts and Ford liveries, and we also include window masks and a protective film too. The body measurements are also 7.5” wide with a 12-13” semi-adjustable wheelbase which is perfect for numerous solid axle trucks already out on the market. 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty BIGFOOT Nation Clear Body
We continued to crush it with the release of the officially licensed 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty BIGFOOT Nation clear body. This body also features a 12-13” semi-adjustable wheelbase and is 7.5″ in width.
This will once again make it compatible with several solid axle trucks that are sold today. This body also includes 1:1 inspired body, cab, and window designs, plus a 1:1 headlight and grill treatment.
A protective film, window masks and two decal sheets are also included so you can recreate this popular paint scheme of the early 2000’s or apply your own personal colors and design.
2010 Ford Raptor BIGFOOT Racer Clear Body
Right after that we released another monster truck body for solid axle racing fans. The officially licensed 2010 Ford Raptor BIGFOOT Racer body comes clear with two different decals sheets.
One is our standard sheet with JConcepts, Ford and BIGFOOT liveries, and the second sheet is tucked inside the included B envelope. This special BIGFOOT Racer decal package will allow you to recreate this iconic paint scheme, and on the product feature page of our website we also provide some painting tips too.
The dimensions of this new shell are 7.5 in width and a semi-adjustable wheelbase of 12-13″. This means this body will be compatible with several solid axle trucks available today like the Losi LMT and Axial SMT10, and each body also includes an overspray film and window masks too.
Mono 1.9″ & 1.7″ Wheels For The RC10
JConcepts also continues to support the vintage RC community with this next product release. We now offer our race proven Mono wheels in 1.9″ and 1.7″ sizes for the RC10 Classic. Starting up front, the new 1.9″ front wheels use the popular dish styling of that era with newer updates like a hassle free one piece design.
The dimensions of these wheels are also era correct in size with a 1.9″ bead mounting size, and they also accept the 3/16” x 5/16” flanged bearing or bushing found on the original and Classic RC10. Drivers can choose white, black or florescent yellow color options and each one will have a shiny face appearance.
The rear wheel is also period correct at 1.7″, and it also has incorporated a dish style wheel design. They are also hassle free thanks to a one piece design, and you can choose from white, black or florescent yellow color options.
Each wheel color also has a shiny face appearance, and they will fit the RC10 using the original 1/4″ rear axles.
3.5 x 46mm Blue Or Black Fin Titanium Turnbuckle Set For The B6.4
We followed that with the release of our new turnbuckles for the Team Associated B6.4 platform. The 3.5 x 46mm Fin Titanium Turnbuckle Set is available in either burnt blue or black color options. Either version is crafted from high-grade, machined titanium material with a heavy-duty, 3.5mm thread base.
These turnbuckles are thicker than our previous sets for the Team Associated B6.x platform, and to use them in your B6.4 car you need to also pick up their #92308 3.5mm ballcups. Install them with the left and right-handed threads, and the left side is conveniently marked for easy orientation. You can also adjust them with our optional Fin turnbuckle wrench which is available separately too.
Slam-Tech Monster Truck Tire Inserts
Then we released our new light-weight inserts for RC monster truck racers. The new Slam-Tech Monster Truck Tire Inserts are white in color which make them easily identifiable, and they weigh in at approximately 24gms each.
These inserts are lighter than traditional open cell inserts, and will provide a driver less rotating weight for better acceleration, in air control and less un-spring weight. So pick up a set today and slam the door on the competition!
Firestorm Racer & Runner Monster Truck Tires
Alongside the Slam-Tech inserts came our new Firestorm Racer and Firestorm Runner Monster Truck Tires. Starting with the Firestorm Racer tires, these are sold in pairs of two and are available in our Blue (Soft) and Gold (Medium) compounds.
Both versions include “React” open cell inserts with authentic tire lettering with a retro JConcepts logo on the sidewalls. In the past the only way to modify scale monster truck tires was to tediously hand cut and slice with a knife. JConcepts makes this process easier now thanks to the trimmed sections built into the tire pattern featuring crisply “chiseled” carcass removal and heavily back-cut lugs.
For more performance the sidewalls have been chamfered, removing overhung tread to provide a light-weight design capable of driving through high-traction turns with a freeness that helps quicken the rotation. The Firestorm Racer tires are also crew-cut to maintain performance in all the right areas while maintaining a low-profile with a wide-body base, and the overlapping center tread provides a steady surface area for smooth surfaces, asphalt, or concrete runs.
The Firestorm Runner tires also simplify the tire modification process thanks to lugs that have both a front and rear edge so they can dig in both directions without throwing too much free dirt. The sidewalls have radius upper corners, then chamfered, removing overhung tread to provide a light-weight design capable of driving through high-traction turns with a freeness that helps quicken the rotation. The Firestorm Runner tire also features a completely lowered lug to create a lower profile stance making it desirable on the racing scene.
These tires are also sold in pairs of two, and are available in both Blue (Soft) and Gold (Medium) compounds. They are stuffed with “React” open cell inserts, and use authentic tire lettering with a retro JConcepts logo on the sidewalls.
F2 Clear Body For The Traxxas Sledge
JConcepts has taken their race proven F2 truck body design to the bashing scene with the F2 clear body for the Traxxas Sledge! This new body is both smaller and slimmer when compared to the RTR body shell. It fits cleanly between the front and rear shock towers to cover all the key components of this vehicle for those extended bash sessions.
By using this body you can also eliminate the inner clipless assembly used with the stock body too. The F2 body is secured to the chassis using our provided hook and loop tape that lines up to the sides of the chassis and inside the body. A separate front nose shield is also included and sits in front of the front shock tower.
To install it remove it from the clear body, paint it to match your favorite color scheme, grab the dual 2.5 x 10mm screws from the (not included) sway bar kit and then finally secure it in place by installing the hardware through the shield and into the sway bar mount.
We also include an overspray film, window masks and a JConcepts F2 decal sheet to complete the package.
JConcepts now offers our race proven S15 body design for Team Associated’s latest generation of their 1/8 off-road electric buggy. The new S15 clear body is packed with features like a forward cab bias, mid-body winglets and a rear stabilizer kick-up.
The RC8B4e allows for a variety of battery position possibilities so we designed this body with raised side pods for extra clearance for both tall shorty batteries and the kit recommended saddle pack setup.
A standard front nose cone is also included for the front of the buggy which can remain clear or painted to match your paint scheme, plus we also provide window masks, a decal sheet and a protective film for the painting process.
Black Fin Titanium Turnbuckle Set For The TLR 8ight-X 2.0 & XE
Next, we announced that our popular Fin Titanium Turnbuckle Sets are now available for the TLR 8ight-X 2.0 and XE. This new seven piece set is anodized in black and uses our familiar “Fin” styling features like the “finned” cuts that rotate about the center. These are constructed from high-grade, machined titanium materials, and use a standardized thread base to fit the kit’s existing rod ends.
The center square is 5mm thick (camber and steering links), and it gradually tapers down into a thread base design which accepts the rod ends included with the kit. Also included is a 3mm Fin Titanium steering drag link for a complete look and to finish the kit. The left handed thread side of these turnbuckles are conveniently marked, and they can be adjusted with our optional Fin 8th Scale Turnbuckle Wrench.
3.5mm Fin Titanium Turnbuckle Set For The B74.2
We followed that release up with some new items for the latest 4WD off-road 1/10 electric buggy from Team Associated. The first item was our 3.5mm Fin Titanium Turnbuckle Set for the B74.2. These turnbuckles are thicker than our previous releases for this platform, and the base of the design is centered around a .143” (3.7mm wrench) titanium hex size which gradually tapers down into a 3.5mm thread base design which accepts the new Team Associated #92308 ball cups.
These use our recognizable “Fin” styling which includes “finned” cut around the center hex area, and we offer these in both black and burnt blue color options. They are constructed from high-grade, machined titanium materials, the left side threads are marked to help you with the installation process and you can also adjust them with our optional Fin turnbuckle wrench which is sold separately.
JConcepts Precut Chassis Protective Sheet For The B74.2
Then we released our Precut Chassis Protective Sheet for the B74.2. This new chassis wrap features our latest JConcepts and Speed Laboratory liveries, and it uses neutral colors to pair up with any paint scheme. Two precut sheets are included in each package, and these can be used on a variety of track surfaces.
They are not only compatible with the new B74.2 and B74.2D, but also the B74.1 too. Full installation instructions and helpful tips can be found on the product page of our website.
RM2 No Apologies Precut Chassis Protective Sheet For The B74.2
Our precut sheet for the B74.2 is also available with a RM2 “no apologies” theme too. These are also sold two in a package, and already cut for you to speed up the installation process.
They use a high impact print of the RM2 logo in a blazing red along with the “no apologies” tag line centered in the middle. For help on installing these wraps please check out the product page on our website for more information.
Radial Bearings For The TLR 8ight-X 2.0 & Tekno NB48 2.1
In addition to other bearing sets, we released additional options of Radial Bearings sets for the TLR 8ight-X 2.0 and Tekno NB48 2.1 1/8 off-road buggies.
Both bearing sets use the same NMB quality and construction, plus precise tolerances and stainless steel materials.

Option Parts For The ARRMA Kraton
The ARRMA Kraton is one of the more popular bashing vehicles on the market today. JConcepts now offers a variety of option parts that not only look good, but they also help to increase your vehicle’s durability too.
Black Aluminum Rear Shock Tower
Starting in the back we now offer an Aluminum Rear Shock Tower. This is constructed from durable 7075 CNC machined aluminum, and it bolts up directly onto the Kraton using the stock hardware.
This tower is also anodized in black, and a JC authentic logo has been engraved into this piece for brand recognition. This tower uses the same stock mounting and suspension geometry, but adds extra durability thanks to the added material strategically placed through the tower.
Black Aluminum Front Shock Tower
We now also offer a front shock tower too that is also made from durable 7075 CNC machined aluminum. It is anodized in black with an authentic JC logo, and it mounts directly to the vehicle using the OEM hardware.
It also features stock mounting and suspension geometry, plus additional material to reinforce its overall strength.
Black Aluminum Suspension Mounts
JConcepts also released four different suspension mounts (Rear Frontward, Rear Rearward, Front Forward and Front Rearward) for this truck.
Two of the mounts are used in tandem in the rear, while the other two are used together up front.
All four of them are anodized in black with a JC logo etched into the dependable 7075 CNC machined aluminum.
All of the stock mounting and suspension geometry is maintained for this vehicle, and you can easily install it using the truck’s existing hardware.
The Front Rearward mount also includes additional screws to use as another securing point to help you lock down the mount to the chassis without always pulling against the transmission case.
Front & Rear Aluminum Chassis Braces
Both of these braces are anodized in black for stealthy looks, and constructed from reliable 7075 CNC machined aluminum material.
A JC logo etched has been placed on both braces, and all standard mounting locations are included. Our rear chassis brace also includes an additional screw so you can mount it directly to the chassis.
The front chassis brace is a direct replacement to the stock component, and mounts using the included 3mm SHCS to the top-deck and to the chassis with a 4mm FHCS.
Carbon Tube Front To Rear Chassis Brace
Our final component we released was a front to rear carbon tube chassis brace. This is built from lightweight carbon fiber material and aluminum inserts have been added to each end.
This tube is lighter than the stock component, and fits snugly into the Kraton using our included 25mm set screws to complete the installation. Please visit the product page on our website for more installation tips on this new brace.
Up next was the release of our Razor rear wing for 1/8 off-road buggies and truggies.
Debuting at the 2022 IFMAR Worlds, the Razor is packed with features like a dropped center section for a lower center of mass, lower pocketing to reduce its overall weight and recessed, IFMAR legal side-dams.
Drivers can also choose to add additional holes to the back of the wing for fine tuning, and it also has pre-marked locations to allow the opening of the rear dam to allow more wind flow and air to escape during jumping.
A molded grid is located on the bottom side to help you attach it to your vehicle, and it is currently available in white, black, yellow and grey color options.
Smoothie 2 LP Stadium Truck Tires
Our successful Smoothie 2 tires are now available for stadium trucks. On many indoor dirt tracks today the traction is so high that a slick tire can produce faster lap times. Our new Smoothie 2 LP (Low Profile) Stadium Truck Tires eliminate the need to sand new tires to slicks for this class now, and they are available in our Silver compound and stuffed Dirt-Tech grey inserts.
We minimized the overall diameter of these tires to improve slick track driving characteristics while maintaining stadium truck legality. The carefully profiled slightly thickened tire carcass rolls through the turns with efficiency while the maximum smooth surface area grips the specialty surfaces like no other.
They still use an industry standard 2.2” bead mounting size, and are sold in sets of two.
JCI Power Master Clear Body For The Axial SCX24
Our next product release was a new body for the Axial SCX24. The JCI Power Master clear body is a mini version of our popular Creep and CreepER style bodies in the crawling scene.
This retro looking body is big on features like a split window styling, a short over-hang front and rear to accommodate various terrain, a V-shape nose for tire and steering clearance, a rounded cab for those eventual rollovers and a flat bed are with plenty of room for customizations and accessories.
Each body is sold clear and includes a detailed decal sheet, window masks and an overspray film.
1978 Chevy K10 Clear Body For The Axial SCX24
Right after that we also debuted our second body offering for the Axial SCX24 this quarter, the 1978 Chevy K10 clear body. This officially licensed shell uses a scale inspired body, cab, and window design, plus a decal sheet is included that offers you five different grille options to customize the final look of your body.
The body’s design also includes a dove-tail effect on the front and rear to provide enough clearance for the tires, and the wheel wells have been scaled to the slightly larger 1/24 tires, but yet it still maintains a clean look representing the authentic vehicle.
Each body comes with an overspray film, window masks and the aforementioned decal sheet.
Radial NMB 5x10x4mm Bearing Set
Shortly after that we released our latest bearing set to our growing Radial product line. The Radial NMB 5x10x4mm Bearing Set uses the familiar NMB quality and construction of our previous bearing sets for vehicles, but this particular set is intended to be used with 1/8 clutches. Each set includes 10 bearings and they are manufactured with precise tolerances and use stainless steel materials.
Front Wing For The Team Associated RC8B4 & RC8B4e
Next, we released our new Front Wing for the Team Associated RC8B4 & RC8B4e 1/8 off-road buggy. This front wing comes clear and two pieces are included in each package. This is a direct fit to the latest buggy from Team Associated, and it replaces the front nose cone of the vehicle as another setup option.
In testing this wing has shown to produce enhanced steering characteristics, and you can pick up this wing to equip both your nitro and electric buggy.
1/24th Monster Truck Tires & Wheels
The 1/24 monster truck segment of RC has been gaining momentum lately, and JConcepts is proud to offer an assortment of tires and wheels to this growing genre of RC.
Starting with our 1/24 Golden Years Tires, these mini monster truck tires are available in our popular soft Blue compound with detailed sidewall lettering. Four tires are available in each package, and all of them are filled with our “React” open cell inserts. The design of this tire pattern includes a round, vintage carcass and cleat design, plus a grippy, full-height tread for deep digging on multiple surfaces. This tire requires our Tribute Mini Monster Truck Wheel Set which we will cover in a bit.
Our other offering was the 1/24 Renegades Mini Monster Truck Tires. These are also sold in packages of four so you can equip your truck on all four corners. Each tire is stuffed with our “React” open cell inserts and they are available in our soft Blue compound. The unique design features of this tire include 1/24 chevron style tread with back-cut lugs, a single contour carcass with light-weight beads and authentic tire lettering with a retro JConcepts logo.
These tires both require the use of our Tribute Mini Monster Truck Wheel Set so let’s cover that now. Each set includes four wheels and you can choose from either black, white or grey color options.
On the backside of the wheel you will find a 7mm hex which makes them compatible with vehicles like the Axial SCX24 platform. The wheels include open and closed planetary caps which attach with the included micro style screws. The planetary caps in solid form support a scale look and the open caps offer a quick-change racer function to suit individual needs.
Vehicles in this genre use very small wheel nuts to hold the wheels to the vehicle so have also included a plastic wrench to help reach those hard to get wheel nuts within the Tribute wheels. Each wrench color matches the wheels and planetary accessories in the package too.
1.0″ Landmines & Tusk Tires Available In Green Compound & Pre-Mount Options
We continued to streamline products for the 1/24 scene with the release of a new tire compound and pre-mounted options. Our 1.0″ Landmines and Tusk tires are now available in our super soft Green compound. The 1.0″ bead mounting diameter makes them compatible with SCX24, and they are both conveniently sold in packs of four. Both tires include our soft, open cell inserts, and they are 2.0” (52mm) in overall size without the inserts.
The Landmines tread design uses a center split-block that is sliced, stepped and recessed for maximum traction over many surfaces. There are also alternating cavity and solid pads which aid a driver when they move from pavement or a smooth dirt surface to one that consists of mud, dirt and rocks. Towards the outside of the carcass there are horizontal grippy pads with channels and edges to provide more forward climbing traction.
The Tusk features V-shaped lugs with multiple steps to the side for additional grip in the center of the tread pattern. Large, staggered traction bars were added to the sides as well to continue the V-shape pattern. The shorter versions of these traction bars work in conjunction with the center lug, while the longer version helps to fill a void underneath and then meet up with the center of the tire. All of the traction bars used in this design feature relieved cuts and slots on the top to break up the flat surfaces and increase grip on various surfaces.
These tires are also now available in pre-mounted options too. Both tires can be picked up already mounted onto either our Hazard or Glide 5 1.0″ wheels. For our pre-mount options you can pick them up in either the super soft Green compound or soft Gold compounds, and either configuration will use our medium, open cell inserts.
Both wheel options are black in color and they are a direct bolt on option for the Axial SCX24. These are also conveniently sold in packs of four so you can equip your vehicle faster and hit the trails with JConcepts!
Pin Swag 2.2″ 2wd Buggy Front Carpet & Turf Tire
We followed that up with some exciting new carpet tires for the indoor racing season! Starting with Pin Swag 2.2″ 2WD Buggy Front Carpet and Turf Tire, these tires use a low profile carcass layout, ultra-light weight scalloped tire beads to reduce the rotational weight.
The unique tread pattern of this tire incorporates a split down the center to give a little individual control to contort to surfaces. In between, a stagger section with angular front is placed just behind a vertical rib to complete the design. The tight spacing of the Pin and Swag bite together and minimize wear across the carcass.
Again these are designed to be used as front tires, and they are offered in a 2.2” bead mounting diameter to fit popular wheels like the #3376 Mono slim wheels. Sold in pairs of two these also use our podium proven Pink compound.
Siren LP 2.2″ 2wd & 4wd Buggy Rear Carpet & Turf Tire
We also released our latest rear tire called the Siren LP. These low profile tires are also sold in pairs, and comprised from our Pink compound and include open cell inserts. These use an industry standard 2.2” bead mounting size, and can be used for both 1/10 2wd and 4wd off-road buggies.
The Siren LP uses an unique tread design which features semi-circle protrusions in the center section of the tire and on the sidewall area too. The low semi-circles improve side-bite, but also help to minimize grip-rolling instances associated with normal pins.
Fuzz Bite Short Course Truck Carpet & Turf Tire
Our popular Fuzz Bite tire design is now available for short course trucks too! These new tires are also sold in pairs of two with open cell inserts, and use our Pink racing compound.
They incorporate the features of the smaller buggy tires like a reverse “water tower” design which plants the larger base at the bottom and narrows at the top for precision. The pins are also placed in a radius pattern which will give you traction on multiple surfaces like office carpet or high grip CRC carpeting.
Alternating rows of pins provide side-bite and aids in forward traction. They also use an industry 3.0” x 2.2” bead mounting diameter to fit popular wheels like the #3344 Hazard and #3420 9-Shot wheels.
Fuzz Bite Stadium Truck Carpet & Turf Tire
We also made these tries available for stadium trucks too! These are also sold in pairs of two with open cell inserts and comprised of our Pink compound.
They use the same familiar features of their buggy counterparts like a reverse “water tower” pin shape, directional sidewall lugging and ultra lightweight scalloped tire beads.
They also use an industry standard 2.2″ bead mounting diameter which make them compatible with our race proven #3354 Mono wheels too.
Relapse 1/8 Buggy & Truggy Tires
Then we released some new off-road tires for 1/8 buggy and truggy racers. The new Relapse tires are sold in pairs, and also include our Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts. This tire uses a fresh design optimized for indoor and outdoor tracks, and will deliver more forward bite than our popular Detox and ReHab tires. The tread pattern revolves around the center structure which has medium to small sized, dense lugs arranged in a stacked and horizontal configuration.
Those lugs have cuts and grooves strategically added to them for providing more flexibility in dust when a track is in a deteriorating condition. The outer portion of the tread fits together like building blocks, with shapes placed together that nest well but also work together to flex laterally to provide steadfast side-bite.
The tread tapers off cleanly to the outer sidewall giving a smooth transition during hard cornering. Our buggy version of this tire uses a 83mm bead mounting size for compatibility of 1/8 wheels on the market like our popular #3357 Bullet wheels. The truggy version uses a 4.0” bead mounting size for compatibility with our #3369 Bullet wheels or other existing wheels on the market today.
Monster Truck Engine Accessory Set
Our final release of the quarter was this new Engine Accessory Set.
This set includes 44 injection molded parts to help a RC enthusiast build a scale rig that requires a replica carburetor and injection assemblies commonly used in high performance engines, and seen on many of the monster trucks of the 1980’s, 1990’s, and 2000’s.
Dual and triple carburetor components are included, and you will also find chrome plated plenum and mounting bases along with stealth black mock air filters.
Instruction sheets and mounting guidelines are also included, and we also provide the necessary hardware to assemble these items.
