7 Wins For JConcepts At The 2024 North Georgia Shootout

This past weekend the North Georgia Shootout took place at Rabun Arena in Tiger, GA. This 1:8 off-road event brought out 342 entries competing in 15 different classes. On Friday drivers threw down laps on the new layout from 7am till 10pm that night.

Saturday morning qualifying kicked off slightly after 7:30am and there were 28 heats per round. There were three rounds of qualifying, but since this event used qual points only a driver’s best two finishes would count toward their final qualifying position in each class.

On Sunday all of the electric classes used a AA Main format. The drivers would run in two separate A Mains that ran for 8 minutes each. Only their best finish would be used to see who won the AA format. If a driver won both A Mains then he or she were automatically declared the winner, otherwise it came down to tie breakers.

The nitro classes raced in a single A Main that lasted for 30 minutes each. We had many drivers in attendance so let’s see how they finished up at this race.

Starting with team driver Cade Burnette he was on a roll this past weekend as he was the top qualifier for both the Pro 1/8 Electric and Nitro Buggy classes!

In the nitro main he would put the competition down one lap as he took the tone to tone win!

In the electric AA Mains he would finish in 1st place in both races to seal up the double victory! Joining him on the e buggy podium in 2nd place was fellow JConcepts driver Patrick Rossiter Jr.!
