The RCRA 1/8th NSW State Titles took place over the weekend at Maitland Off-Road Club. Jarod Ment and Lachlan Donnelly took wins for the JConcepts International Team!
The boys split Top Seed positions, TQs, and 1st place finishes across Nitro Buggy and Ebuggy and battled it out at the sharp end of the field all weekend.
Seeding:
Nitro Buggy: 1st Jarod Ment (JC), 2nd Lachlan Donnelly (JC)
Ebuggy: 1st Lachlan Donnelly (JC), 2nd Jarod Ment (JC)
Qualifying:
Nitro Buggy: 1st Jarod Ment (JC), 2nd Lachlan Donnelly (JC)
Ebuggy: 1st Lachlan Donnelly (JC), 2nd Jarod Ment (JC)
Main Events:
Nitro Buggy: Jarod Ment would lead through the first pit stop but ultimately would have trouble dropping him out of the event early. Lachlan Donnelly would pick up where he left off and take the win by over a lap.
1st Lachlan Donnelly (JC), 2nd Zac Ryan, 3rd Felix Koegler
Ebuggy: Lachlan would strike first taking the A1 win, but would suffer a DNF in A2. Jarod would take the A2 win which would allow for an A3 battle for the overall win. A long first lap for Lachlan would see him tumble down the order on the first lap and he would unfortunately only be able to recover to 3rd. Jarod would take the A3 win and the overall in the class.
