The third round of the 2026 1/8th Scale Spanish Nationals series took place this past weekend at Circuito De Montjulic. Juan Carlos Canas had a fantastic weekend winning both nitro and electric buggy.
Juan had an absolutely perfect weekend in Nitro Buggy taking the top seed position, the TQ, and the win in nitro buggy. In the main event he would finish a few seconds clear of the field with 2nd and 3rd battling all the way to the last lap.

In Ebuggy, Juan would seed 2nd, qualifying 2nd, and then go on to take the win in A1 and A2 for the overall with one main left to go. The podium would consist of the same guys with a slightly different order after David Todd took the A3 win.
