Auburn RC introduced an outdoor 1/10th scale off-road track this year and this weekend was their first big off-road races with the JConcepts Golden State Dirt Invert. The surface was packed tight and had excellent grip for an outdoor largely untreated surface.
This event brought out some JConcepts heavy hitters including Davey Batta, Kaden Meeks, Track Owner and Team Driver Kyle Layton, and Nick Wautlet Practice would take place all day Friday with the 2 rounds of qualifying and the triple-main events on Saturday! Qualifying would be rocket round with the single fastest run setting the grids.

The Auburn crew used a unique format for the triple mains with the grid for A2 being an inverse of the finish of A1. The grid for A3 would be an inverse of the finish in A2. Check out how the team faired following the triple mains!
