F2 Body
JConcepts continues to re-write the script when it comes to off-road body design, development, and styling. It is difficult to find a more successful body shell than the F2 design by the creators from Groveland, Florida. As the release drops of the R1 R1B Mark 1, JConcepts set off to incorporate all the functionality of the IFMAR World Championship winning shell and wrapped it around the newest dynamo from R1 Wurks. The exclusive composition of the cab, extra rear windows, louvered roof all tied together with Finnisher “V” configuration makes the F2 a classic performer.
As vehicles change and evolve over the course of time, the shape of the chassis is one the major components that goes under the microscope. JConcepts kept the profile tight and bordered the chassis outline front to back. The front-end slides over the top deck and under the front tower for a clean and classic fit. The look of the Finnisher has been sampled quite a bit over the years, however, with the double steps on the side-pod and off the back of the roof, nothing quite stands out like the original.
In 1:10th buggy racing, cab placement is critical, the forward bias cab with powerful windshield angle conquers terrain ranging from dirt, sealed synthetic, carpet, to astroturf. The JConcepts body really does it all, with chamfered side-pods blended perfectly into the cab and broad rear mounting ledge, the F2 is a winner. The body includes a feature which covers the rear spur gear guard and with a little extra clearance for the occasional frills and spills.
The championship winning item includes two of the 6.5” Carpet | Turf | Dirt wing which is now a standard racing item around the world. The body includes all trim and window lines scribed on the body and masks to quickly cover the inside of the windows to perform user generated painting technique. A popular and versatile JConcepts decal sheet is included to decorate the new shell to the choice of the customer while a simple instruction sheet covers the basics for new or inexperienced painters.

Striker Body
JConcepts reaches into their bag of tricks with the latest body for 1:10th off-road racing. The new Striker body, inspired by one of the fastest closed-wheel racing vehicles in the world, the LMP. The standout feature, the wrap-around cab with sunglass style window treatment, just looks Striking in appearance. During the 2010’s, Brian Kinwald sported this style window design on some of his off-road race cars and JConcepts used a combination of his inspiration with ours to form the new pod style cab.
Over the rear-end, a newly built stabilizing fin rises in height toward the rear of the shell to provide P2 style and performance characteristics. The front of the ramping feature blends into a tiny roof scoop reminiscent of the BJ4 Worlds Edition and provides a small finishing touch to the center section of the body. The sidepods are the simplest yet from JConcepts, rolling shapes, radius edges with variable blended heights float over trouble spots in the chassis geometry and inner electronic concerns.
The rear portion of the 2wd body includes features to cover spur gear shroud while still appearing as an intergraded component into the overall concept. In front of the windshield, a slight recess redirects aero coming through the front shock tower to provide more useable windshield surface. The body shell includes the famed and often sampled carpet | turf | dirt wing in the popular and speedy 6.5” optimized width. The untrimmed Striker for the R1 R1B Mark 1 fits nicely around the chassis, through the front shock tower and hugs the chassis like a glove.
