As June comes to an end there is still no stopping the JConcepts race team as they continue to roll out on the track! Read about our winning ways in this new edition of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report at Taylor Park Raceway in Yukon, OK. This past weekend the Elite Dirt Oval Series was held here which saw 197 entries! We had many drivers competing in this event so let’s see how they finished up starting with team driver Robert Chapman. He reports that he finished 2nd overall in the Outlaw Sprint class!

Team driver Randy Lathrop competed in both the Outlaw Sprint and Latemodel classes. He would just miss the transfer spot to the A Main from the Outlaw class, but he made the A in Latemodel and finished in 5th place! Also joining him on the Latemodel podium were tire teammates Jennifer Lathrop (2nd) and Nathan Dean (1st)!

JC driver Kevin Mcnatt raced in the SC Mod class and after starting 4th in the A Main he went on to take the win!

JConcepts driver Jordan Hefler competed in the SC Mod, Wingless Sprint, Midwest Mod and Latemodel classes for this event. He set the TQ in SC Mod but unfortunately broke out and finished with a DNF. He also finished 5th in Midwest Mod, 4th in Latemodel and took the W in the Wingless class! He also earns out coveted “ironman” award this week for competing in four classes too!

Team driver Tyler Keel competed in the Outlaw Sprint class as well, and qualified 4th overall for the A Main before an electrical gremlin knocked him out of contention. Still he was running fast for the team and was running in 2nd place until he suffered a DNF!

JC pilot Noel Cerda competed in the 10.5 Sprint class and finished in 4th place!

Team driver Kevin Lenderman competed in both the SC Mod and Wingless Sprint classes for this race. He would finish 6th overall in the Wingless class after bumping out of the B Main, and he also finished 4th overall in the SC Mod class!

Now we turn to Tennessee and make out way to the Monster Jam World Finals that was taking place in Nashville. Not only were the big trucks competing there this past weekend, but there was also a RC monster truck event taking place too! Unfortunately, mother nature wasn’t cooperating with the RC event so it had to be cut short, but we had several drivers at this event so let’s check in to see what they were running at the finals.

Starting with team driver Dustin Spallone, even with the poor weather conditions he was able to take home the Wow Moment Award!

Team driver Jeremy Bunting also competed at this event with his Bad Company and Dragon replica rigs!

JConcepts driver Josh Rhodes took home the win in the Freestyle competition with his Grave Digger monster truck!
